Troca de Halloween 2015 *Halloween swap 2015

Boa noite. Como já o fazemos há alguns anos, não podia deixar de partilhar a troca que fiz este ano com a KarenD, que se encontra no blog Frazzle and Aniploish. Visitem-na! Faz publicações bastante interessantes ;)
Este ano, apesar de mais uma vez ter ficado com as coisas presas na alfândega (já nem me vou alargar muito no assunto), recebi as coisinhas um dia antes do Dia das Bruxas! Mesmo a tempo porque ela manda-me sempre coisas para o Dias das Bruxas ;)
Como recebi as coisas mesmo em cima da hora para o Halloween, acabei por não fotografar o que ela me mandou para a festa porque usei logo de seguida, mas é claro que fotografei os vernizes. Aqui estão as belezas! Espero que gostem ;) E um grande obrigado à KarenD, claro! ***

This year, despite once again having the package retained by custom services (I'm not even going to bother to talk about it), I received the goodies just one day before Halloween! Right on time because she always sends me Halloween goodies ;)
As I received the things in the nick of time I ended up not taking photos of the Halloween stuff because I used them rigght away, but of course I photographed the nail polishes. Here are the beauties! I hope you like it :) And a big thank you to KarenD, of course! ***

Ok, aqui troquei a ordem dos vernizes por isso, cá vai, o da Sinful Colors brilha no escuro e chama-se Skele-Bration, o outro é o meu primeiro e único verniz da marca Cirque Colors e chama-se Electric Sky/*Ok so here I switched the nail polish positions so here goes, the one by Sinful Colors glows in the dar and it's called Skele-Bration, the other one is my first and only nail polish by the brand Cirque Colors and it's called Electric Sky.

Depois de ter visto as novidades no site, tive de ir confirmar à loja física se era mesmo verdade :) Os produtos de Halloween e Natal já chegaram à Lush. Ainda estou a arranjar o post detalhado dos artigos, mas por agora deixo-vos um cheirinho do que lá está... e, posso adiantar desde já que... estou bastante desiludida :(

After seeing the news on the website I had to go to the stores to confirm it ;) Halloween and Christmas products arrived to Lush. I am still working on the detailed post about the products but for now I'll leave you with a sneak peek of what's there... and, I can say already... I'm quite disappointed :(

Que posso eu dizer? *What can I possibly say?

Boas tardes.
Venho por este meio pedir desculpa pela falta de assiduidade para com o meu blog. O desemprego faz-nos ter tempo para muitas coisas, para coisas que gostamos e até para coisas que não gostamos.
Adoro vernizes e pintar as unhas, acho que isso não é segredo nenhum, e, se numa altura em que estava desempregada tinha tempo e paciência para vos mostrar o que mais gosto de fazer, agora que tenho um emprego não consigo ter tempo nem para manter as unhas decentes para pintar. Continuo a pintá-las, obviamente, mas confesso que não tenho nem tempo nem paciência (e nem um computador decente, diga-se de passagem) para escrever posts acerca de tal. Com tudo isto quero apenas dizer que continuo a amar vernizes e pintar unhas, continuo a seguir praticamente todos os blogs que já sigo há anos, mas de momento não consigo mesmo manter um ritmo constante de posts no blog. E, possivelmente, os meus posts daqui para a frente serão curtos e objectivos, "straight to the point style".
Espero que me desculpem. Não me esqueço de quem me segue e não esqueço de quem sigo ;)
Não abandonarei o blog, simplesmente não consigo vir cá com a regularidade com que o fazia.

I'm here to apologize for my lack of presence on my blog. Unemployment makes us have time to a lot of things, for things we like and even for things we don't really appreciate.
I really love nail polishes and to paint nails, I do think that is no secret, and, if in a time I was unemployed I had the time and patience to show you what I like to do the most, now that I have a job I can't even have time to keep my nails good looking to paint. I still paint them of course but I confess I don't have the time nor the patience (and not even a decent computer I might say) to blog about it. With all this I just want to say that I still love nail polishes and painting nails, I still follow every blog I did since I've started blogging about nail polish, but at this moment I can not keep a constant post rythm on my blog. And, possibly, my posts from now on will be short and objective, straight to the point style.
I hope you can forgive me for it. I don't forget those who follow me and I don't forget those I follow ;)
I will not abandon my blog, I simply can't come here with the regularity of once.

Flormar M116

Bom dia! Hoje começa o Verão, oficialmente, e a cor que vos trago é linda para a época. Manhãs frescas e dias extremamente quentes :) isto está mesmo a pedir o M116 da colecção Supermatte da Flormar. Ora a cor é linda mas: a aplicação é manhosa com a possibilidade de carecadas constantes, a fórmula do verniz é grossa e o tempo de secagem é algo que deixa muito a desejar. Isto já para não falar do horrível hábito da Flormar não nomear os vernizes, mas enfim... se não fosse pela cor super fofinha este verniz estava condenado... mas a verdade é que existem outros, bem melhores, que o podem muito bem substituir. Atenção Flormar! :\ Fotos - duas camadas de verniz sem topcoat.

Good morning! Today is officially the day Summer begins and the colour I'm bringing you is beautiful for the season. Fresh mornings and extremelly hot days :) this is clearly asking for M116 from Flormar's Supermatte collection. Ok, so, the colour is gorgeous but: application is very tricky with the constant chance of bald spots, the formula is really thick and the drying time is something beyond my understanding. And this not to mention Flormar's terrible habit of not giving names to the nail polishes but oh well... if it wasn't for the super cute colour this nail polish was condemned... and the truth is there are a lot of other really good nail polishes that can pretty well replace this one. Pay attention Flormar! :\ Photos - two coats of nail polish and no topcoat.

Essie - Tart Deco

Boa noite.
Se há cor que me põe o Verão nas unhas é esta mesmo! Este tom é lindo para o tempo quente e aqui apresenta-se sob o nome de Tart Deco da Essie. É uma marca um pouco cara cá em Portugal (quase 10€ cada verniz), mas vale cada cêntimo! Óptima qualidade na aplicação, na secagem, na remoção e a sua durabilidade nas unhas é algo soberbo! Como livreira posso constatá-lo sem problemas! Pelo menos uma semana ele aguenta sem lascar e o máximo que me aconteceu foi começar a gastar nas pontas. Nas fotos tenho duas camadas de verniz e uma de topcoat. Uma maravilha! Caro mas vale a pena! :D

You know, if there is a colour that puts Summer on my nails is this one right here! This is a gorgeous shade for the warm weather and here it is under the name of Tart Deco by Essie. It is a kind of expensive brand here in Portugal (almost 10€ a bottle), but it is worth every cent! Great quality applying, drying and removing and its durability on the nails is something superb! As a bookseller I can say it without a problem! It lasts at least an entire week without chipping and the max that happened was to begin to wear out on the tips. On the photos I have two coats and a topcoat. Wonderful! Expensive but totally worth it! :D

Orly - It's Not Rocket Science

Boa tarde!
Eu sei que não venho aqui há mais de um mês e lamento imenso por isso. A minha vida, assim mais ou menos de repente, deu uma voltinha que me alterou a voltas :P por isso tenho andado um pouquito mais ocupada do que o habitual. Aproveito para dizer que, possivelmente, os posts no blog se tornarão um nadinha mais espaçados, mas vou tentar ser um pouco mais assídua também. É nestas alturas que reparamos que temos um blog há quase 10 anos e o quão inconstante fomos ao longo dos mesmos. Eu sei que fui inconstante. Quando estou empregada deixo de ter a disponibilidade que tinha, quando estou desempregada chego a pôr um post todos os dias (por vezes até dois!), e agora empregada e com a minha própria casa... digamos que nem é só visitar o blog que se torna raro, é visitar até o computador :P Mas vou tentar mudar isso, ok? Aguentem-me, please!
Bem, tanta conversa e o importante vem agora! Trago uma cor fantástica que me foi oferecida pela querida KarenD numa das nossas muitas trocas. O blog dela é dos mais fixes e actualizados que já vi, não deixem de visitar :)
Trata-se do verniz It's Not Rocket Science da Orly. É um verniz com acabamento glass flecked, ou seja, parece que tem vidrinhos na fórmula. É de um verde primaveril lindo de chorar por mais, com reflexos dourados e prateados. Duas camadas deste baby e estamos prontas para a praia ;) Tempo de secagem normal e remoção um pouco mais trabalhosa do que o normal mas não tão mázinha como a de um glitter. Se tiverem a oportunidade de lhe deitar as mãos, nem pensem duas vezes!

I know I haven't come here for more than a month now and I am really sorry about it. My life gave a really big turn, more or less all of a sudden, and that mixed up all of my priorities :P that's why I have been a bit busier than usual. I can also tell you that possibly the posts on the blog will be a bit more spaced between each but I'll try to keep up a certain rythm . It's in these times that we realise that we have a blog for almost 10 years now and we have been very inconstant along them. I mean, I know I have always been like so. When I am employed I don't have the availability that I have when I'm not, when I am not employed I can reach one post a day (sometimes even two!), and now that I am employed and with a home to take care of... let's just say that it's not only the blog visits that become rare, it is to visit a computer as a matter of fact :P But I'll try to change that, ok? Bear with me, please!
Well, so much chit chat and the important thing comes now! I have an amazing colour to show you that was offered to me by sweet KarenD in one of our many swaps. Her blog is one of the coolest and most accurate I've ever seen, please, don't miss the chance to visit her :)
So this is It's Not Rocket Science by Orly. It is a glass flecked finish nail polish, which means its seems like it has little pieces of shattered glass in its formula. It's tone is of a very springy green to die for, with golden and silver reflexes. Two coats of this baby and we are good to go to the beach ;) Average drying time and a removal that requires a bit more work than usual but not as bad as the one of a glitter. If you ever have the chance to grab this bad boy, don't even think twice!
