Compras Lush Amoreiras *Lush Haul In Amoreiras Shopping Center

Boas tardes caros fiéis :P pois é, ontem realizei algo que já queria há algum tempo: fui à loja física da Lush no Amoreiras Shopping. Fui com uma amiga, Daniela Matos (o que é melhor do que duas Danielas na Lush a gastarem dinheiro?), e apesar da loja ser pequenita (do tamanho de uma The Body Shop ou O Boticário) é muito divertido andar por lá e ver todas aquelas cores e cheiros que a invadem.
A empregada da loja manteve boas conversas connosco nunca querendo impingir nada e dando-nos até algumas informações valiosas acerca da loja, do seu funcionamento, dos seus planos para o nosso país (é possível que venha a abrir uma Lush no Porto) entre outras. Foi um bom atendimento, daqueles que não são mecânicos, vocês percebem :) e na hora de nos "deixar em paz" acho que cheirei tudo o que lá havia (de acordo com os meus interesses) XD.
Gostei imenso de lá ir e considerei isso também bastante importante. Até agora só tinha comprado produtos deles na loja online, o que pode ser algo surpreendente (pela negativa) a nível de aromas quando os recebemos em casa. Por serem produtos feitos com ingredientes naturais, orgânicos e frescos existe, e muito, a possibilidade de torcermos o nariz a certos cheiros. Foi o que me aconteceu na loja. Tive a oportunidade de cheirar alguns produtos nos quais tinha interesse e posso dizer que, apesar de o interesse não ter desaparecido, os cheiros não eram os mais cativantes.
No entanto, tendo em conta a (pouca mas boa) experiência que tenho com produtos Lush, acho que não existe o problema de ficarmos a cheirar continuamente ao produto pois são cheiros que desvanecem muito depressa (note-se, no entanto, que até agora só utilizei sabonetes e alguns cremes).
Na minha opinião e pelo bem do nosso corpo acho que se deve dar sempre uma oportunidade, pelo menos a produtos de lojas como a Lush.
Passo então às comprinhas ^__^.

*Good afternoon dear faithful :P yesterday I did something that I already wanted to do for some time now: I went to an actual Lush store in Amoreiras Shopping Center (Lisbon). I went there with a friend, Daniela Matos (what could be better than two Danielas hanging around Lush spending money?), and despite the store being small it is very funny to walk around seeing all the colours around and the scents that fulfill it.
The girl from the store kept us interested with her conversations, she never tried to convince us to buy something and she also provided us good info about the store, how it works, the plans for it in our country (Portugal) and a lot more. It was a good welcoming, she wasn't behaving mechanically at all, you understand what I mean :) and when it was time to "leave us alone" I think I smelled everything in there (accordingly to my interests, of course) XD.
I really enjoyed going to the Lush store and I also considered this an important step. Until now I had only bought their products from the online store which can be surprising (in a negative way) when it comes to scents when we receive them at home. Their products are all made out off natural, organic and fresh ingredients and this creates the possibility of us not liking some of the aromas. It happened to me while I was in the store. I had the opportunity to smell some products I was interested in and, despite the interest still being there, the scents weren't the most captivating.
In the meanwhile, having in mind the (little but good) experience I have with Lush products, I think there is not the problem of keeping the scent on our skin for too long because the aromas disappear rather quickly (attention because until now I have only used soaps and some creams).
In my opinion and for the sake of our body I think we should always give it a shot, at least with products from stores like Lush.

Toothy Tabs na qualidade Sparkle para substituir pasta de dentes. Já experimentei. Branqueiam, de facto, os dentes, mas é como se estivéssemos a usar sabão para lavá-los (sabe a sabão, é o que quero dizer) :P Pode não agradar a toda a gente. A primeira vez foi penosa XD as outras vezes já se toleram melhor.
*Toothy Tabs in Sparkle to substitute tooth paste. Already tried these. They do white the teeth but it's like using soap to brush them (I mean it tastes like soap) :P This may not be suitable for everyone. The first time was quite hard XD but the rest of them are better handled.

É Páscoa e eu não vos venho mostrar a minha manicure de Páscoa mas sim terminar o desafio marca da semana com a Yves Rocher. São apenas mais 3 vernizes que faltavam e aqui vos deixo. Atenção, pesado em fotos! ^__^

It's Easter and I'm not here to show you my Easter manicure but instead to finish off the Brand of the week challenge with Yves Rocher. It's only 3 more nail polishes left and here I show you them. Attention, picture heavy! ^__^

Dia 5 - Framboise
Um lindo cremoso de cor framboesa, de facto, com uma aplicação extraordinária opaca com 2 camadas (mas muito boa só com uma). Um tempo de secagem normal e uma remoção sem problemas. A aplicação destes vernizes da Yves Rocher é um sonho e o pincél é bastante agradável. São aqueles vernizes que, de certeza, conseguimos gastá-los por inteiro sem nos cansarmos deles. Nas fotos não tenho topcoat.

*Day 5 - Framboise
A beautiful raspberry creme, indeed, with an extraordinary application that became opaque with 2 coats (but it is very goo with only one). A normal drying time and a troubleless removal. The application of these nail polishes by Yves Rocher is always a dream and the brush is very good. These are those nail polishes that, certainly, we can always reach the end of the bottle without getting tired of them.
I'm not wearing topcoat on the photos.

Dia 6 - Rose Pastel
Uma cor dos anjinhos, mais béige/salmão do que rosa. Este verniz tem um acabamento "glass-flecked" cujos pedacinhos flocados reflectem branco e rosa. Como qualquer cor mais pastel foi menos bom de se aplicar (precisei de 3 camadas para uniformizar a cor), o tempo de secagem também foi algo mais prolongado, talvez por ter 3 camadas, e a remoção não é complicada mas também não é a coisa mais suave de sempre :P
Linda cor para quem quer passar despercebido mas com um ar muito saudável nas unhas.
Nas fotos não tenho topcoat.

*Day 6 - Rose Pastel
An angelical colour, more béige/saumon than rose/pink. This nail polish has a glass-flecked finish in which the flakies reflect white and pink. As any other pastel colour this was not so good to apply (I needed 3 coats to make the colour uniform), the drying time took a little longer, maybe because it had 3 coats, and the removal is not complicated but certainly not as smooth as a creme :P
It's a beautiful colour to those who want to go unnoticed but with very healthy looking nails.
I don't have topcoat on the photos.

Dia 7 - Taupe
Um cremoso de cor lamacenta, lindo! Umas vezes mais castanho, outras vezes acinzentado, mas sempre encantador :) Tal como qualquer outro verniz deste género da Yves Rocher que já utilizei, aplicou-se sem demoras, ficou opaco com 2 camadas, demorou o tempo normal a secar e a remoção aconteceu facilmente.
Não me canso mesmo destes vernizes. São óptimos para quando temos pouco tempo e precisamos de algo rápido nas unhas. Não costumava gostar deste tipo de cor, mas com vernizes destes, rendo-me!

*Day 7 - Taupe
A beautiful muddy creme! Sometimes brownish, some other times greyish, but always charming :) As any other polish of this kind by Yves Rocher that I has already used, it applied quickly and flawless, opaque in two coats, it took the average time to dry and the removal happened easily.
I don't get tired of these nail polishes. They are great for those times when we are in a hurry and need something quick on our nails. I didn't use to like taupes but with nail polishes like these, I surrender!

Desafio Marca da Semana - Semana 2 #4 *Brand of the Week Challenge - Week 2 #4

Boas noites minha gente!
Hoje venho mostrar-vos o verniz Yves Rocher que escolhi no quarto dia do desafio semanal: o Bleu Nuit!
Um shimmer, uma base azul muito muito MUITO escura cheiínha de shimmer também azul.
Este verniz é dos pequenos portanto pode tornar a aplicação em unhas grandes um pouco desesperante, mas eu tinha as unhas curtas o que deu imenso jeito :P apliquei-o bem e num instante, secou bastante depressa e quando o removi não tinha as unhas manchadas. Óptimo portanto :P
É uma cor que passa também por preto de tão escura que é, só muito ao perto ou ao sol é que podemos dizer que afinal é azul, um azul muito elegante e misterioso. Eu acho! E adoro! E vocês, também gostam? ***

*Good evening my people!
Today I come to show you the nail polish by Yves Rocher that I picked up for the fourth day of the weekly challenge: Bleu Nuit!
It's a shimmer, a very very VERY dark blue base fully packed with blue shimmer.
This is one of those small bottles that can make the application a bit annoying for those who have long nails, but I had mine short which was really nice :P I applied it very nicely and in a flash, it dried quite fast and when I removed it my nails weren't stained. So, great :P
This is also one of those colours that can easily be mistaken for black because it is so so dark, you can only tell it's blue if you stand really close or if you see it in the sun. It's a very elegant and misterious blue. At least I think so. And I love it! What about you, do you also like it? ***

  

Desafio Marca da Semana - Semana 2 #3 *Brand of the Week Challenge - Week 2 #3

Boas noites! :)
O terceiro verniz que usei da Yves Rocher foi o Brun Noir. É um chocolate escuro cremoso e lindo de morrer! Super elegante e com um brilho de si fenomenal :D
Apliquei duas camadas para cobrir completamente a unhas e não apliquei topcoat. Tal como os demais que tenho da marca aplicou-se muito bem, o tempo de secagem decorreu dentro do normal e a remoção não é nada "suja". Eu sei que nas fotos ele parece preto, mas de certeza que todos nós conhecemos uma cor escuríssima que afinal não é preto :P
Regozijem-se com as fotos :) Este verniz é dos meus preferidos ;)

The third nail polish I've chosen by Yves Rocher was Brun Noir. It's a dark chocolate creme beautiful to die for! Super elegant and with an phenomenal shine by itself :D
I apllied two coats to completely cover the nails and I did not apply topcoat. Just like every other Yves Rocher I've got it applied like a dream, the drying time was the normal and the removal isn't messy at all. I know it may look black in the photos but I am sure all of us know that really dark colour that after all happens to not be black :P

Lemony Flutter - Lush

Boa tarde!
Hoje fui acordada por uma situação meio estranha para mim, principalmente por ser Sábado.
Telefonaram-me para ir buscar uma encomenda à entrada do meu bloco pois a morada estava incompleta. Lá me vesti num instante (óbvio que quando voltei para casa voltei a enfiar-me no pijama e na cama :P) e fui buscar o que quer que fosse aquela encomenda pela qual me estavam a acordar num Sábado de manhã, tendo eu me deitado às quase 5 da matina e estando com uma amigdalite incrível.
Não deixei a minha irmã abrir a encomenda mesmo por não saber o que era, na embalagem dizia "Nature&You"... não fazia ideia!
Quando abri o pacotinho passaram-me as dores da amigdalite e um sorriso estúpido apareceu-me nos lábios :) A minha encomenda da Lush tinha chegado! Encomendei na quinta-feira à noite e li no site, realmente, que a entrega decorria entre 24 a 48 horas mas nunca pensei que entregassem ao fim de semana :P Enfim... chegou a minha manteiga de cutículas Lemony Flutter que tive de pôr logo nas ditas e vieram mais duas amostras grátis: um pedacinho de sabonete Bohemian (limão) e um pouco de creme para as mãos Helping Hands (neutro). Vinha tudo acomodado entre Edições de Natal 2011 do jornal Lush Times. Diverti-me a ver tudo isto e depois voltei a dormir, feliz da vida ^__^.
P.S.: Encomendei online porque me fica mais barato do que ir a Lisboa comprar. Mas quero ir à loja um dia.

*Good afternoon!
Today I was awaken by an awkward situation for me specially because it's Saturday.
I received a call to go pick up a package in front of my appartment block because the address was incomplete. I got dressed in a hurry (obviously I got in my pjs and bed right when I got back :P) and went on to pick whatever package it was that was making me get up so early in a Saturday morning when I had gone to sleep just about 5 hours before and having an incredible tonsillitis.
I didn't let my sister open the package exactly because I didn't know what it was. On it was written from "Nature&You"... I had no clue!
When I opened the package my tonsillitis pain gone away and a stupid smile appeared on my lips :) My order from Lush had just arrived! I ordered it on Thursday night and I read on the website, actually, that their deliveries were made within 24 to 48 hours but I never thought they would deliver on weekends :P Anyway... my Lemony Flutter cuticles butter arrived which I had to put it on right then and it came along with two free samples: a little piece of Bohemian soap (lemon) and a bit of Helping Hands hand cream (neutral). It all came tidy up in the middle of Christmas 2011 Editions of Lush Times newspaper. I had a lot of fun seeing all I had just got and after that I went back to sleep, happy with my life ^__^.
P.S.: I ordered this online because it's cheaper than going to Lisbon. But I do want to visit the store :)

A vontade para vir ao computador tem sido mínima assim como o meu ânimo. Mas vamos ver se melhora.
No segundo dia da semana com Yves Rocher usei um dos pequenitos da marca, o Rose Sorbet. Um cremoso rosa muito fofinho e forte que apetece abraçar :P O verniz aplicou bem, já nem me lembrava que estes pincéis são mesmo pequenos por isso as pessoas com unhas maiores e mais compridas devem achar mais difícil a aplicação. Apliquei duas camadas e não usei topcoat. Secou dentro do tempo normal e a remoção também foi normalíssima.

I've been lacking the will to come to the computer and I've been lacking cheerful mood. Lets see if it gets better.
On the second day of the week with Yves Rocher I used one of the little fellows of the brand, Rose Sorbet. A very cute and strong pink that makes me want to hold it :P The nail polish applied nicely and I didn't recall the brush was so small so people with big and long nails might find the application a bit difficult. I applied two coats of nail polish and no topcoat. It dried within the normal time and the removal was also pretty normal.

Desafio Marca da Semana - Semana 2 *Brand of the Week Challenge - Week 2

Para a segunda semana do desafio escolhi a marca de catálogo Yves Rocher. A minha irmã ofereceu-me uns quantos vernizes da marca e eu aproveitei :) Já usei os da Luminelle (sub-marca da Yves Rocher) há muitos anos e gostava deles, mini frascos e tal, mas nunca tinha usado os de frasco maior.
A minha primeira escolha foi: Aubergine! Um delicioso roxo escuro cremoso, com uma aplicação de sonho, um tempo de secagem ideal e uma remoção óptima. Acho que não tenho nada de mal a dizer destes vernizes da Yves Rocher! Têm um brilho imenso por si só e por isso não usei topcoat nas fotos. Este verniz da Yves Rocher cobre bastante bem a unha com apenas uma camada, mas eu apliquei duas em nome da perfeição ;)
Adorei, é tudo o que tenho a dizer... e vocês?

*On the second week of this challenge I chose the catalog brand Yves Rocher. My sister had offered me a few nail polishes of the brand so I had to do it :) I had already used Luminelle's (sub-brand of Yves Rocher) a few years ago and I liked them, the bottles were tiny, but I had never used the ones in bigger bottles.
So my first choice was: Aubergine! A delicious dark purple creme, with a dream application, an ideal drying time and a great removal. I don't think I have a bad thing to say about these Yves Rocher nail polishes! They have a great shiny by themselves and so I didn't use any topcoat in the photos.
This nail polish covers the nail very decently with one coat but I applied two for the sake of perfection ;)
I love this nail polish, that's all I have to say... how about you?
