Desafio Marca da Semana #6 Brand of the Week Challenge #6

A minha sexta escolha com a marca Inocos, e última porque não tenho mais vernizes da Inocos, foi o Ser Alma da colecção Perdidamente. Um pincel de meter medo, com as cerdas todas torcidas e pontas de tamanhos diferentes. Tirando isso é um verniz muito bonito, um rosa clarinho cremoso de aplicação relativamente fácil (tendo em conta a porcaria de pincel que traz). Apliquei duas camadas para uniformizar a cor (pois com uma camada ficaria bom se não fossem as carecadas provocadas pelo pincel) que secaram dentro do tempo normal. A remoção é boa também.
Soube de casos de pessoas que utilizaram este verniz e ficaram com as unhas muito amarelas, mas não foi o meu caso.
Os pincéis dos vernizes desta colecção parecem não ter remédio, acho que são todos assim, mas como mais nenhuma cor me interessa, aguento-me bem com os dois que tenho da colecção. É só preciso um pouquito de paciência ;) Eu adorei este verniz, e vocês?

*My sixth choice by the brand Inocos, and last one because I don't own any more Inocos nail polishes, was "Ser Alma" (translation: To be soul) from the collection Perdidamente. A scary brush with the hairs all twisted and points with different sizes. Apart from that this nail polish is beautiful, it's a light pink creme with a relatively easy application (not forgetting the awful brush it has). I applied two coats to make the colour uniform (because it would be fine with only one coat but the brush makes it have bald spots) that dried in the average time. The removal is troubleless too.
I know about people who wore this nail polish and ended up with very yellow nails, but this wasn't my case.
The brushes from this collection seem to be all like this one but I was only interested in two shades from this collection so I can manage. We only need a little patience ;) I loved this polish, how about you? 

Miyo novidades *News from Miyo

Saí com a minha mãe hoje à tarde e quebrei a minha decisão de comprar vernizes até estar empregada. A culpa foi da minha mãe porque disse que ajudava a comprá-los! XD
Enfim, são 5 vernizes que parecem mais pequenos que os normais, mas levam a mesma quantidade (8ml) e têm a particularidade de cheirarem a cenas :P da esquerda para a direita: laranja; lilás (não sei a que cheira um lilás...); tropicana (o que quer que seja...); framboesa e papaia/manga.
Comprovo que os vernizes cheiram muito bem, só consigo mesmo identificar o de laranja :P mas os outros cheiram todos muito docinhos ^__^ E o cheiro só se nota na unha, depois do verniz seco. Aguardem swatches! Adorei quebrar a minha decisão! (uups!).

*I went out shopping with my mother today and I broke my decision of not buying any nail polishes until being employed again. It was my mother's fault anyway 'cause she said she would help me buying them! XD
So these are 5 nail polishes that seem smaller than the usual ones but they have the same capacity, 8 ml, and they have the particularity to smell like things :P from left to right: orange; lilac (I don't know what lilacs smell like); tropicana (whatever that is...); raspberry and papaya/mango.
I can confirm that these nail polishes smell really good but I can only identify the orange one :P but all the others smell really sweet ^__^ And the smell is only noticed on the nails after drying.
Await for swatches! I loved to break my decision! (oops!).

Desafio Marca da Semana #5 Brand of the Week Challenge #5

Boa tarde!
Já no quinto dia do desafio da marca da semana decidi usar o verniz Arraiolos.
É um azul eléctrico shimmer muito lindo :) É o único azul do género que tenho e que não mancha as unhas! A aplicação é óptima e cobre perfeitamente a unha com duas camadas. O tempo de secagem é bom e a remoção também não é nada conflituosa :P
Nas fotos usei duas camadas de verniz sem topcoat.
Este foi o primeiro verniz da Inocos que comprei e não me arrependi nada pois adoro esta tonalidade ;)

*Good afternoon!
On the fifth day of this brand of the week challenge I decided to use Arraiolos.
It's an amazing shimmer electric blue :) It's the only blue of this kind that I have and doesn't stain the nails! The application is great and it covers the nail perfectly with two coats. The drying time is good and the removal isn't problematic at all :P
In the photos I have two coats of nail polish and no topcoat.
This was the first nail polish I bought by Inocos and I don't regret it at all because I absolutely love this shade ;)

Desafio Marca da Semana #4 Brand of the Week Challenge #4

Boa noite!
No quarto dia do desafio semanal com a marca Inocos escolhi o Dançar também da colecção Noites de Verão. É um foil (acabamento alumínio) roxo muito bonito de fácil aplicação, com um bom tempo de secagem e uma remoção fácil. Cobre a unha completamente com duas camadas e é um mimo para se ter na colecção ^__^ Nas fotos tenho duas camadas de verniz.
Não faço ideia porquê, mas consigo mesmo associar o nome, Dançar, com a cor e a uma noite de Verão ;) Espero que gostem.

On the fourth day of the weekly challenge with the brand Inocos I chose Dançar ("To Dance") also from the collection Noites de Verão (Summer Nights). It's a very pretty purple foil with an easy application, a good drying time and a nice removal. It covers the nail with two coats and it's a must in every stash ^__^  In the photos I'm wearing two coats of nail polish.
I have no idea why but I can clearly associate the name, "Dançar", with its colour and to a Summer Night ;) I hope you enjoy it.

Desafio Marca da Semana #3 Brand of the Week Challenge #3

No terceiro dia do desafio semanal decidi-me pelo Milfontes. E como tenho de me ir deitar mais cedo hoje, fica uma descrição muito breve do verniz. É muito parecido com o Amar (post anterior) mas em verde e com um acabamento mais foil, e nisto incluo a aplicação, tempo de secagem e remoção :P A alteração com o topcoat é, no entanto, muito mais subtil. Muda um pouco mas nada de grandes diferenças.

*On the 3rd day of the weekly challenge I decided to use Milfontes. And as I must go to bed earlier tonight, I leave you with a very brief description of this nail polish. It's very similar to Amar (previous post) but in green and with a foil finish, and I also mean application, drying time and removal :P The changes when I applied topcoat are a lot more subtle though. It changes a bit but no big deal really.

Desafio Marca da Semana #2 Brand of the Week Challenge #2

Boa noite!
No segundo dia da primeira semana do desafio que, relembro, decidi usar a marca Inocos, escolhi o verniz "Amar" da colecção Noites de Verão. A aplicação deste verniz é das melhores que já experimentei da marca e, surpreendentemente, cobre a unha bastante bem com apenas uma camada, mas eu dei a segunda camada da perfeição :P É um verniz algo estranho de classificar porque pode ser um shimmer ou um micro-glitter e a sua cor e acabamento mudam aquando da utilização ou não de topcoat. Mas sem topcoat é, na minha opinião, um verniz de base shimmer vermelha cheia de micro-glitter prateado. Com topcoat este micro-glitter torna-se menos evidente e a base shimmer revela-se quase por completo.
O tempo de secagem é bom e a remoção é o que pode esperar de um micro-glitter mas nada de crítico. Este verniz pode eventualmente manchar as unhas portanto recomendo o uso de uma base.
Pessoalmente adoro usar topcoat com este verniz pois acorda a vida toda que há nele :D

On the second day of the first week of the challenge for which, I remind you, I chose the brand Inocos, I picked the polish "Amar" (translation: To Love) from the collection Noites de Verão (translation: Summer Nights). The application is one of the best I've tried from this brand and, surprisingly, it covers the nail quite well with only one coat but I've put on the second coat of perfection :P It's a somewhat strange nail polish to classify because it can be a shimmer or a micro-glitter and its finish and colour can change after you apply topcoat. But without the topcoat is, in my opinion, a red shimmer base packed with silver micro-glitter. With topcoat this micro-glitter is less evident and the shimmer base reveals itself completely.
The drying time is good and the removal is what you expect of a micro-glitter but nothing critical. This nail polish can, eventually, stain the nail so I recommend the use of a basecoat.
Personally I love to use topcoat with this nail polish because it seems like it brings out the life in it :D

Desafio *Challenge

A minha irmã propôs-me um desafio: usar vernizes da mesma marca durante cada semana.
Aceitei!
Comecei a semana com a marca Inocos. Ela comprou-me dois vernizes na Inocos no dia em que me propôs o desafio e então veio mesmo a calhar ;)
Escolhi o "Mil Desejos" da colecção Perdidamente. É um vermelho framboesa :) É lindo de morrer, a aplicação é boa, duas camadas cobrem perfeitamente a unha. Tem um brilho de si espectacular, seca relativamente depressa e a remoção também não tem problema nenhum. Ora, mas quem conhece a colecção e quem já experimentou estes vernizes deve estar a perguntar-se como é que eu sou capaz de dizer que a aplicação é boa... pois é, a aplicação é boa tendo em conta a porcaria de esfregona de palha d'aço que traz como pincel! Horrível mesmo! Inocos, esperava um pouco mais de ti... mas enfim... de certeza que, fora o pincel, a aplicação é um sonho! Já conheci vernizes com pincel decente que se aplicam bem pior :/

*My sister proposed me a challenge: to use nail polishes of the same brand during a week, each week.
I accepted!
I started the week with the portuguese brand Inocos. My sister had bought me two nail polishes by Inocos the day she proposed me the challenge so those were right on time ;)
First I chose "Mil Desejos" (translation: a thousand wishes) from the collection Perdidamente (translation: "lostly"(?) from the word lost). It's a raspberry red :) Beautiful to die for, the application was good, two coats cover the nail perfectly. It has a beautiful shine on its own, the drying time is quite fast and the removal has no problems at all. Those who know and have tried the nail polishes from this collection must be wondering why I mention that the application is good... well, having in mind the awful brush the babies from this collection have I think the application was quite reasonable! Really really nasty brush! Honestly we were expecting something better from Inocos... but anyway, I'm sure that counting out the brush this nail polish would apply like a dream! I've known nail polishes with pretty decent brushes that are much more difficult to apply :/

KIKO #248 Pink Microglitter

Boas noites!
Mais um verniz da KIKO. Desta vez é o #248 Pink Microglitter.
É um verniz com uma base meio transparente rosa avermelhada cheia de microglitter rosa e prateado e mini-flocos prateados. Tem uma aplicação, secagem e remoção dentro dos parâmetros deste tipo de verniz, mas são precisas mais de 2 camadas para se obter qualquer coisa de aceitável (francamente nem me lembro de quantas usei! Mas foram mais de 2 de certeza). No entanto pode ser sempre usado como topper para "iluminar" algum outro verniz :)
É um verniz estranho devido às misturas de elementos que tem, um pouco infeliz na minha opinião e não posso acrescentar muito mais sobre ele a não ser que não é definitivamente um dos meus preferidos.

*Good evening!
Another nail polish by KIKO. This time is the #248 Pink Microglitter.
It is a nail polish with a sheer red-pinkish base packed with silver and pink micro-glitter and silver flecks. The application, drying time and removal are average for this kind of polish but it takes more than 2 coats to get a decent colour on our nails (I honestly can't remember how many coats I used! But more than 2 for sure). In the meanwhile it can always be used as a layer to brighten up some other nail polish :)
It's a weird nail polish due to the mixture of elements in it, an unhappy choice for a nail polish in my opinion and there is nothing else I can add unless letting you know that this is definitely not one of my favourites.

KIKO #287 Dark Carmine Red vs. Yves Rocher #22 Violine

A minha irmã parece andar mais excitada com os vernizes do que eu! XD Comprou um verniz na KIKO, o #287 Dark Carmine Red e depois pediu para eu fazer a comparação com um outro verniz da Yves Rocher, o #22 Violine, que ela me ofereceu no Natal :P
E são de facto muito muito parecidos pois apenas uma coisa, um único detalhezinho, os separa da igualdade: shimmer.
O Violine (Yves Rocher) é um verniz cremoso e o Dark Carmine Red (KIKO) é um verniz shimmer que quase passa por cremoso. Ambos têm uma cor bordeaux/carmim embora no frasco pareçam atirar para o rosa escuro. Não se deixem enganar ;) São ambos lindos, com uma aplicação sem problemas (este verniz da KIKO não fez as típicas bolhinhas que os outros têm feito comigo), um tempo de secagem razoável podendo, no entanto, dizer-se que o da Yves Rocher seca um pouco mais depressa, e uma remoção que não mancha nem unhas nem mãos. Ambos os vernizes cobrem bem a unha com duas camadas. Embora o da Yves Rocher fique bastante decente apenas com uma.
Acho ainda de mencionar que o verniz da Yves Rocher resulta com um brilho incrível!
Se podem ser considerados duplicados? Na minha opinião podem pois o shimmer do Dark Carmine Red não é de modo nenhum flagrante nem tão pouco visível até uma certa distância.
Nas fotos tenho 2 camadas de cada verniz e não tenho topcoat. Espero que gostem!

*My sister seems more excited with the nail polishes than I do! XD She bought a nail polish by KIKO, #287 Dark Carmine Red and then she asked me to compare it with another polish that she had offered me on Christmas, Yves Rocher #22 Violine :P
And indeed they are really really similar because there is only one thing, a little detail, that separates them from equality: shimmer.
Yves Rocher Violine is a creme nail polish while KIKO Dark Carmine Red is a shimmer which is almost taken for a creme. Both are a carmine/bordeaux colour although in the bottles they seem to be a dark rose. Don't be fooled by this ;) They are both gorgeous, with applications with no problems (this KIKO didn't form the little bubbles like the others have done with me), the drying time is very reasonable but I think I can say that Yves Rocher dries a bit faster, and the removal is hand and nails clean. Both nail polishes cover the nails with two coats. But you know what? Yves Rocher looks pretty decent with only one. Anyway, I also have to mention that this Yves Rocher nail polish has an incredible shine on its own!
If these nail polishes can be considered dupes? In my opinion they can because the shimmer in Dark Carmine Red is not that flagrant and it's not even visible at a certain distance.

Almoço de Natal de bloggers *Bloggers Christmas Lunch

No dia 17 de Dezembro de 2011 as bloggers, youtubers e outros, maioritariamente da zona de Lisboa e arredores, reuniram-se num almoço de Natal no Centro Comercial Colombo em Lisboa. Foi uma tarde muito agradável com direito a troca de prendas. Venho então mostrar a prendinha que recebi, que foi a Yellow do blog Miscellaneous que a ofereceu.
