Ora hoje mostro-vos o quarto dia deste desafio que ainda pertence ao pecado Gula. E diz assim: Esquece a tua dieta e pinta algo que faz o teu estômago roncar de fome!!
E como eu sou gulosa! Acho que este é o meu verdadeiro pecado mortal :P Não consegui pintar só uma coisa e tive de me controlar muito para pintar só duas! XD Mas pronto, cá estão elas! Melancia e Mel! Como eu adoro estas duas maravilhas da Natureza! :P E vocês, o que é que pintariam nesta manicure? :)

Today I will show you the fourth day of this challenge, which still belongs to Gluttony sin. And it goes like this: Skip your diet and paint something that makes your stomach growl!!
And how glutton I am! I think this is my true deadly sin :P I couldn't paint just one thing and I certainly had to control myself to paint only two! XD But it's ok, here they are! Watermelon and Honey! Oh how I love these two beauties of Nature! :P How about you? What would you paint on this manicure? :)

Desafio Pecados Mortais Dia 3 *Deadly Sins Challenge Day 3

Boas tardes!
Hoje venho mostrar a manicure que fiz no dia 3 deste desafio. O pecado em questão é a Gula que, para o dia três, dizia: Delicia-te com uma manicure inspirada em fios de açúcar. E assim fiz. Foi a primeira vez que tentei a técnica de fios de açúcar e posso dizer que não correu muito mal. Pelo menos eu gostei deste efeito :D

*Good afternoon!
Today I'm here to show you the manicure I've made on day 3 of this challenge. The sin in question is Gluttony that, for the third day, said: Delight yourself with a Sugar Spun inspired manicure. And so I did. This was the first time I tried the sugar spun technique and I can say that it came out pretty well. At least I liked this effect :D

Ah, e nos pés tenho o Salon Perfect Bang com uma camada do China Glaze Toe-tally Textured por baixo, mas não tirei foto :P Espero que gostem! Eu só tenho a agradecer à KarenD! Muito muito muito obrigado! ***

*As I couldn't let it pass, I had to try right away the two that caught my attention the most: L.A. Girl Dazzling Pink and Salon Perfect Jolt, with a coat of NYC Lexington Yellow underneath. Lush - Retread

Olá!
Tenho andado afastada do blog por razões que desconheço. A verdade é que não ando só afastada do blog, mas sim do computador mesmo. Simplesmente não me tem apetecido vir para o computador. Sorry.
De qualquer modo, cá estou eu, com uma pausa no desafio que corre, para fazer uma review a mais um produto Lush. Desta vez trata-se do condicionar de cabelo Retread.
Este é o condicionador mais forte da Lush e por isso, apesar de poder ser utilizado em todos os tipos de cabelo, com alguma atenção, não é recomendado para cabelos oleosos nem para cabelos já de si escorridos. É um condicionador que vai desembaraçar, hidratar e domar os cabelos mais revoltos e secos.
O Retread tem como ingredientes principais: gel de ágar ágar; leite de soja; meloa cantalupe fresca; azeite extra virgem orgânico; iogurte orgânico; óleo de abacate prensado a frio orgânico; lanolina; óleo de jojoba orgânico; absoluto de folha de violeta; absoluto de flor de laranjeira e óleo de néroli.
Tem um prazo de validade que ronda os 14 meses e é vendido em potes grandes de 245 gr. que custam 13.95€.

I've been away from blogging for reasons that are unknown to me. The truth is I haven't been away just from blogging but also from the computer itself. I just don't feel like sitting by the computer. Sorry.
Anyway, here I am, making a pause on the challenge I'm currently taking, to make a review on another Lush product. This time I chose the hair conditioner Retread.
This is Lush's strongest conditioner and so, though it can be used in every hair type, with some attention, it is not recommended for greasy nor limp hair. It is a conditioner that will help detangle, moisturise and tame the most rebel and dry hair. 
Retread has as main ingredients: agar agar gel; soy milk; fresh cantalupe melon; organic extra virgin olive oil; organic yohgurt; cold pressed organic avocado oil; lanolina; organic jojoba oil; violet leaf absolute; Orange blossom absolute and neroli oil.
It has a shelf life of about 14 months and it is sold in big pots of 245 gr. that cost 13.95€.

Passo a contar-vos a minha experiência. Tenho o cabelo com tendência a oleoso, mas que de vez em quando lá precisa de ser domado porque, por razões desconhecidas, revolta-se um pouco. Como tal, e tendo em conta o nível de hidratação do Retread, optei por aplicá-lo apenas no comprimento do cabelo e nunca nas raízes (mas experimentei na primeira vez pôr nas raízes e fiquei com o cabelo tão oleoso como tinha antes de entrar no duche!), o que provou que é um bom amaciador do cabelo e cumpre bem a sua função de domá-lo.
A isto junta-se o facto de ter um cheirinho super agradável! Adoro o cheiro fresquinho e frutado deste condicionador! É um cheiro meio doce que pode, no entanto, não ser do agrado de toda a gente e pode inclusivamente tornar-se enjoativo. Tenham em atenção que o cheiro do Retread aguenta-se no cabelo pelo menos 2 dias (que é o tempo que o meu cabelo aguenta sem ser lavado). Pessoalmente adoro o cheiro, mas tenham este facto em atenção.
A aplicação é meio estranha porque o condicionador parece que é absorvido pelo cabelo e dá-nos a sensação de não estarmos a aplicar coisa alguma, mas na verdade, para cabelos pelo meio das costas, como o meu, uma noz generosa do produto chega para hidratar e amaciar o cabelo (tendo em conta que não o aplico nas raízes e só no comprimento do cabelo). Os resultados são visíveis quando já saímos do banho e estamos a tratar do cabelo: penteá-lo é mais fácil, o meu cabelo que tem jeitos fica mais liso e o cheirinho é uma coisa fabulosa. Quanto a brilho... pouco ou, no meu caso, nenhum. Não conferiu qualquer brilho ao meu cabelo deixando-o até, por vezes, bastante mortiço. No entanto, pessoalmente, não é algo que me aborreça. Mas pode aborrecer muita gente!
Resultado e conclusão: sou fã do cheirinho e do produto mas não é o meu condicionador de eleição. Deve ser óptimo em cabelos secos e indomáveis, mas aconselho atenção na sua utilização em cabelos oleosos e escorridos. Evitar aplicação nas raízes nestes casos, digo eu.
Terminado o pote, que deve ter dado para umas 13 aplicações, não notei quaisquer efeitos a longo prazo no cabelo.
Como nunca é demais relembrar, esta foi A MINHA experiência com o condicionador Retread, da Lush. Não se esqueçam que os produtos funcionam de maneira diferente em cada pessoa ;)

*So I'm going to share my experience with you. My hair has a tendency for greasy, but once in a while it also need to be tamed because, for reasons unknown, it rebels a bit. As such, and having in mind the moisturising properties of Retread, I decided to apply it only on the length of my hair and not the roots (I tried it on my roots the first time though and my hair turned out as greasy as when I had it before entering the shower!), which proved that it is a good hair conditioner and it plays nicely its job of taming it.
To this we can add the fact that it smells wonderfully! I love the fresh and fruity scent of this conditioner! It is a somewhat sweet scent so some people may not really fancy it and it can be a bit sickening. Have in mind that Retread's scent lasts on the hair for, at least, 2 days (which is the longest my hair helds without being washed). Personally I love this scent, but you need to take this in consideration.
The application is a bit weird because the conditioner seems to be completely absorbed by the hair and it gives us the feeling that we aren't applying anything at all, but the truth is, for long hair that go to the middle of our back (like mine), a generous blob of product is enough to soften and moisturise the hair (paying attention to the fact that I don't apply it on the roots, only on hair length). The results are seen we we gat out of the shower and start treating our hair: it is easier to brush it, my hair that is full of natural forms turns out really straight and the scent is something fabulous. As for shine... very little or, in my case, none. It didn't give any shine whatsoever to my hair, even leaving it a bit dull sometimes. Personally that doesn't upset me, but some people may be really annoyed about it.
Results and conclusions: I am a big fan of the scent and the product but it is not my favourite conditioner. It must be great for dry and tameless hair, but I advise attention when using it in greasy and limp hair. In these cases avoid application on the roots.
When I finished the pot, which is enough for about 13 uses, I didn't notice any long term effects on my hair.
And, finally, it is never enough to mention that this was MY experience with the Retread conditioner by Lush. Don't forget that products work different for each person ;)

I had been already looking for one of those manicure challenges that would ring my bell and finally I came across the "Deadly Sins Challenge". Right on, this is it! I read it and it sounds great! :D Look at the plan.

A cada pecado mortal cabe dois dias. Eu começo hoje! E o dia 1 do primeiro pecado, que é a Luxúria, diz: Sê uma menina mal comportada e faz aquilo que sempre quiseste fazer tanto.
Ora bem, aqui está uma manicure que sempre quis fazer! :D Espero que gostem ^_^
