The Halloween Challenge 2012 - #06

Boas!
A manicure #6 deste desafio já chegou! Pedia por "coisas que fazem barulho na noite" :D Adorei, só tive pena foi da minha falta de originalidade... mas que mais podia eu fazer se recebi uns vernizes tão bons na minha troca com a Karen D?! :D
Dei-lhes uso, obviamente ;) Quando virem manicure vão perguntar: "mas o que é que isto tem a ver com coisas que fazem barulho na noite?" - e é por isso que eu me vou adiantar e responder: um dos vernizes chama-se "Monster Mash" e o outro chama-se "Glitter Goblin"... Monstros e Goblins são "coisas" que fazem barulhos na noite. Aí está! :D
Explicação dada, passo a palavra à manicure :P espero que gostem!

*Hello!
Manicure #6 of this challenge is here! It demanded for "things that go bump in the night" :D I loved it but I feel a bit embarrassed of my lack of originality on this one... but what else could I do when I received such great nail polishes in my swap with Karen D?! :D
I used them, of course ;) When you'll see the manicure you will be like: "but what does this have to do with things that go bump in the night?" - and that's why I am going to answer in advance: one of the nail polishes is called "Monster Mash" and the other other is called "Glitter Goblin".... Monsters and Goblins are "things" that go bump in the night. there you have it! :D
Explanation given, I now let the manicure speak :P I hope you like it!

E eu pensei: vou fazer algo de diferente aqui :P nada de mais, apenas uma alteração pouco comum.
Em vez de pintar chapéus de bruxa pretos, fi-los em branco :D ás vezes algumas bruxas são boas pessoas :P

Instead of painting witches' hats black, I made them in white :D sometimes some wicthes are good people :P

Troca de Halloween :) *Halloween Swap :)

Boas noites!
Pequena pausa no desafio de Halloween para vos poder mostrar a minha mais recente troca.
Como sabem, aqui no nosso país raramente aparecem vernizes de edições de Halloween, mas nos E.U.A. o que não falta é isso mesmo. Têm colecções de Halloween que me trazem as lágrimas aos olhos :P Confesso que, do que vi até agora, já houve anos de melhores lançamentos, mas de qualquer modo alguns vernizes mais diferentes fizeram-me babar por eles e não resisti em contactar a minha comparsa de trocas americana :D
Esta foi a segunda troca que fiz com a querida Karen do blog Frazzle and Aniploish. Já se passou um ano desde a primeira troca que fiz com ela e também foi para pedir alguns vernizes de Halloween :P São uma perdição para mim! Isso e edições de Natal, mas isso é outra história que se passará mais lá para os finais do ano XD. Enfim, só tenho a agradecer à minha querida Karen por ter feito esta troca comigo! :) Ela é a minha salvação quanto a vernizes americanos, especialmente os desta época porque ela põe sempre no blog dela montes de fotos dos expositores de vernizes e eu fico aqui a babar-me toda XD
O post tem imensas fotos porque tentei captar a beleza dos vernizes na íntegra :P espero que gostem! :D:D:D Eu adorei!!!!

I'm taking a little break on the Halloween challenge just to show you my most recent swap.
As you may know, in my country (Portugal) it is really really REALLY rare to appear Halloween nail polishes but, in the U.S.A. that is something that is all over the place at this time of year. They have Halloween collections that bring tears to my eyes :P I do confess that, from what I've seen so far, there have been better editions before but, anyway, some different nail polishes made me drool and I ddin't resist contacting my American swap buddy :D
This was my second swap with lovely Karen from Frazzle and Aniploish. It's already been a year since my first swap with her and it was also to ask for some Halloween nail polishes :P They are complete doom to me! And Christmas editions too but that's another story that will arrive somewhere around the last days of the year XD. Anyway, I have to thank dear Karen for swapping with me! :) She is my savior when it comes to American nail polishes, specially at this time of year because she puts a lot of photos of nail polish displays' on her blog and I just sit here drooling around XD
This post has a lot of photos 'cause I tried to capture the real beauty of these nail polishes :P I hope you like it! :D:D:D I am completely in love!!!!

The Halloween Challenge 2012 - #03

Boa dia!
Isto é engraçado. No blog estou atrasada em relação aos posts das manicures de Halloween, mas a verdade é que estou a fazê-las no devido dia, aqui é que me atraso a pô-las :P
A manicure de hoje já está feita mas a que venho mostrar é a de dia 9: Zombies!
Os meus zombizinhos acabaram por parecer mais Frankensteins, mas a verdade é que esse fulano era um zombie praticamente, não? Feito com pedaços de cadáveres e "ressuscitado"... o que mais lhe poderíamos chamar (para além de monstro :P)?

This is funny. On my blog I am quite delayed posting my Halloween manicures but the truth is I am already doing them on time, I mean, I am doing them on the respective day, but then I delay the posts :P
Today's manicure is already done but the one I'm showing you is from day 9: Zombies!
My little zombies ended up looking like Frankensteins but truth said, is that this Frankenstein guy was practically a zombie, right? I mean, made out off dead bodies' parts and brought back to life... what else would we call it (besides monster :P)?

Não fazia ideia de que estava a rolar no blogs de vernizes o desafio de Halloween de 2012!
Adivinhem se vou participar ou não.... XD
Está mais do que aceite!
E comecei hoje, estou atrasada um par de dias, mas nada que não consiga compensar.
O desafio não é diário portanto não consiste em 31 manicures.
A primeira foi a de dia 1, claro está, e o tema era "Trick or Treats" (Doçura ou Travessura).

I started today, I'm a couple of days behind, but I can easily catch up with it.
The challenge is not daily so there are no 31 manicures.
The first one was from day 1, of course, and the theme was Trick or Treats.

Boa noite!
Hoje venho numa de "flash" para vos mostrar o verniz Yes Love #876 :)
A minha irmã comprou-me esta beleza porque não tenho muitos vernizes desta tonalidade, castanho claro.
Este verniz tem um acabamento "frost", as marcas das pinceladas, apesar de não serem muito visíveis, são óbvias. A aplicação é o normal, com duas camadas fica opaco e com três fica uma perfeição :D Não tem muito gloss natural, mas brilha que se farta XD
Seca com relativa facilidade e a remoção também não é nada de problemático.
É a elegância de alguns anos atrás, mas porque não usá-la e mantê-la nos dias de hoje? ;)

Today I'm here in a hurry to show you the nail polish Yes Love #876 :)
My sister decided to buy me this nail polish because I don't own a lot of polishes with this tone, light brown.
This nail polish is a frost, the nail polish strokes are obvious but I tried to make them not so visible. The application is quite normal, it's opaque in two coats but with three is perfection :D It doesn't have a natural gloss but it shines like hell XD
It dries quite fast and the removal isn't a problem.
To this I call the elegance of some years ago, but why not use it and keep it these days? :)
I love it! What about you?
