Coisas de Lushie *Lushie things

Boa tarde!
Há cerca de um mês estava eu a vasculhar o site da Lush quando me apercebi que as balísticas e espumas de banho mais requisitadas estavam novamente repostas. Não consegui evitar mandá-las vir todas! E mais uma coisinha ou outra… E não me arrependi nada :P

About a month ago, here I was, searching on Lush website when I came accross the fact that the most popular bath bombs and bubble bars had been restocked. I couldn’t avoid but order them all! And another something… And I didn’t regret it at all :P

A minha manicure com micro-pérolas *My micro-pearl manicure

Boa noite!
Decidi finalmente tentar as tão badaladas "unhas de ovas de peixe" :P
Como não sabia se tinha micro-pérolas suficientes de uma só cor para todas as unhas optei por utilizar duas cores. Verde e laranja.
Comecei por pintar as unhas com cores semelhantes às das micro-pérolas. Passei duas camadas dessas cores, deixei secar, apliquei topcoat numa unha e mergulhei-a logo de seguida no recipiente das micro-pérolas. Note-se que este passo teve de ser feito unha a unha para o topcoat não secar. Confirmei se estava como queria, dei uns jeitos a uma bolita aqui e outra ali, apliquei uma camada generosa de topcoat para finalizar e o resultado foi bastante satisfatório :D Possivelmente repetirei!

I finally decided to try the so called "fish egg nails" :P
As I didn't know if I had enough micro-pearls of one same colour for all the nails, I decided to use two different colours. Green and orange.
I started to paint my nails with base colours similar to the ones of the micro-pearls. I applied two coats, let dry and the I applied topcoat on one nail and I dipped it in in the micro-pearls container right after applying the topcoat. This step had to be done nail by nail so the topcoat wouldn't dry up. I check all up to see if it was like I wanted it, I fixed a little pearl here and there, I applied a generous coat of topcoat to finish it up and the result was quite amazing :D Possibly I will do this again!

This happened before Mother's day 'cause I went there precisely to get my cute mummy a little gift :)

Facto curioso: Comprei um pedaço de sabonete que foi embrulhado no papel branco original da Lush e que foi a prenda da minha mãe, um pedaço do Figs and Leaves que ela adorou. A curiosidade está no facto de eu ter pedido para embrulharem esse como oferta e, no final, estarem outros produtos nos saquinhos de oferta excepto o Figs and Leaves que era a oferta XD a Lush está sempre a surpreender :P
*Curious fact: I bought a chunk of soap that was wrapped in the white original Lush paper and was my mother's gift, a chunk of the soap Figs and Leaves which she loved. The curiosity behind this is the fact that I asked for it to be wrapped as gift and, in the end, other products were wrapped as gift except for the chunk of Figs and Leaves that was the actual gift XD Lush just keeps on surprising me :P

Essence LE Crazy Good Times

Boa tarde, de calor!
Como já referi num post anterior, fiz uma pequena troca com a minha querida ritterbraten. Algo me dizia que a colecção limitada de vernizes da Essence Crazy Good Times nunca haveria de ver a luz deste sol aqui em Portugal e então arrisquei, adiantei-me e pedi-lhe encarecidamente para organizarmos uma troca (ela actualmente está em "modo de não-troca") e só tenho de lhe agradecer imenso por ter aceitado fazê-la.
No entanto não quis o primeiro verniz da colecção e é por isso mesmo que não o tenho. Mas aqui vos deixo swatches de todos os outros vernizes da colecção (vou ser breve na descrição de cada um deles :P). Espero que gostem!

As I already mentioned in a previous post, I have made a little swap with my dear ritterbraten. Something was telling me that the Essence Crazy Good Times LE collection of nail polishes would never see the sunlight here in Portugal so I took my chance, I went forward and I asked her gently to organize a little swap with me (she is in "non-swap mode") and all I can do is thank her for accepting it.
In the meanwhile I don't have the first nail polish because I didn't want it. But I have the rest of the collection so I want to show you the swatches (I'll keep it short in details :P). I hope you like!

2 camadas, boa aplicação e tempo de secagem normal.
* 2 coats, good application and average drying time.

#03 Colourbration
2 camadas, aplicação manhosa (verniz grosso) e tempo de secagem lento.
*2 coats, tricky application (thick formula) and slow drying time.

#04 Confetteria
2 camadas, aplicação muito manhosa (verniz muito grosso e o glitter não ajuda) e tempo de secagem algo lento.
*2 coats, very tricky application (very thick formula and the glitter doesn't help) and drying time somewhat slow.

#05 Candyction
2 camadas, aplicação boa (mas é um verniz grosso) e tempo de secagem normal.
*2 coats, good application (but has a thick formula) and normal drying time.

#06 Glitterastic
2 camadas, boa aplicação e bom tempo de secagem.
*2 coats, good application and good drying time.

Glitterastic sobre um verniz preto. Uma camada.

Manicure LUSHuosa :D *LUSHury Manicure

Boa tarde!
Todas as manicures LUSH têm um nome diferente no título XD ai ai...
Mas pronto, hoje venho mostrar mais uma manicure que fiz a pensar num produto da marca. Desta vez é a balística (que ainda existe! :P) Think Pink ^__^ Cheira tão bem esta balística! Coisas docinhas, e tem florinhas de açúcar e tudo!

But anyway, today I'm here to show you another manicure I've made inspired in a product by the brand. This time is a bath bomb that still exists! :P It's Think Pink ^__^ It smells so so good this one! Sweet things, it even has sugar flowers in it!
But why words? Here I leave you a picture of the bath bomb and my manicure :)
