Outubro = Verão *October = Summer

Tenho andado a adiar a próxima manicure porque não me agrada nada o tema... não sou mesmo nada fã deste próximo padrão... mas enfim... entretanto deixo umas fotinhas do que mais adorei neste Verão, que, para mim, continua, pois hoje foi dia de praia :)

Desafio dos 31 dias - DIA 15 *31 days Challenge - DAY 15

Metade!!! Já vou a meio caminho do desafio das 30 manicures :)
Ora para o dia que dita o fim da primeira metade do desafio... dia 15 vá... teria de elaborar uma manicure com um padrão elegante e a ideia foi-me dada por uma amiga minha, a Marta, que pode encontrar-se aqui. Num serão muito agradável que juntou amigos e amigas de boa data, póquer, bebidas e vernizes, divulguei que o próximo desafio seria um padrão elegante ao que a Marta, sem muita dificuldade, disse: "Podes fazer uma francesa!" e eu pensei que, de facto, não existe nada mais elegante do que uma manicure francesa e, apesar de não ter seguido as cores tradicionais, acho que ficou bastante elegante! Obrigado pela ideia Marta!
Deixei as minhas unhas ao natural e fiz apenas a francesa com duas camadas do verniz Amar (Gama Diamont) da colecção Noites de Verão da marca Inocos e delineei a francesa com um traço fino de Heavy Metal da piCture pOlish. Apliquei autocolantes nas unhas dos anelares e polegares e terminei com.... bem... terminei com 3 topcoats diferentes! Apliquei o Essence Nail Art Sealing Topcoat nos anelares e polegares para trancar os autocolantes, depois apliquei uma camada do CLICHÉ Ultra Brilho com Óleo de Onagra em todas as unhas mas como achei que ficou pouco brilhante voltei a aplicar uma camada de Essence Glossy Shine Topcoat e ficou tal como eu queria.
Espero então que gostem da minha manicure do dia 15: padrão elegante!

Half!!!! I have completed half of this 30 manicures challenge :)
For the day that marks the end of the first half of the challenge... ok, day 15... I had to do a manicure with an elegant pattern and the idea came up from a friend of mine, Marta, who can be found here. During a very pleasant evening that reunited friends of good date, poker, drinks and nail polish I said that the next challenge would be an elegant pattern and Marta, with no difficulties at all, said: "You could make a french!" and I thought that there is no more elegant manicure than a french manicure, indeed and, despite not following the traditional colours of a french, I think it came out very elegant! Thank you for the idea Marta!
For this manicure I left my nails bare, with their natural colour and for the french I used two coats of Amar (meaning: "To Love") (from Diamont Gama) from the collection Noites de Verão (meaning: "Summer Nights") by Inocos and I underlined it with Heavy Metal by piCture pOlish. I applied stickers on my ring fingers and thumbs nails and I finished it with... well.... I finished it with 3 different topcoats! I used Essence Nail Art Sealing Topcoat to lock the stickers, then I used CLICHÉ Ultra Shine with Onagra Oil but it wasn't as glossy as I wanted it so I applied, lastly, Essence Glossy Shine Topcoat and it came out just the way I wanted it!
So I hope you like the manicure I've done for day 15: elegant pattern!

Desafio dos 31 dias - DIA 14 *31 days Challenge - DAY 14

No dia 14 temos uma manicure para lembrar a Primavera! Flores ^__^
Tentei fazer rosas... mas não presto a fazer rosas... ou então tenho de treinar mais XD entretanto considerei estas apresentáveis e aqui fica a manicure do dia 14 :)
Vernizes utilizados: Aroma da Terra #02 (cor base, 3 camadas); H&M Cherry (cor base das rosas); Yolizul #239 (para os traços mais claros nas rosas); China Glaze Jolly Holly (para a ramagem) e terminei com o meu novo secante ultra brilho da DermExcellence :)

*On the 14th day of the challenge we have a manicure to remind us of Spring! Flowers ^__^
I attempted to draw some roses... but I suck at drawing roses... or else I just need to practice a bit more XD in the meanwhile I decided that these were good enough so here it is the manicure of day 14 :)
Nail polishes I used: Aroma da Terra #02 (base colour, 3 coats); H&M Cherry (base colour for the roses); Yolizul #239 (for the lighter traces of the roses); China Glaze Jolly Holly (for the branches and leaves) and I finished it up with my new extra shine drier by DermExcellence :)

Desafio dos 31 dias - DIA 13 *31 days Challenge - DAY 13

Manicure do dia 13 do Desafio dos 31 dias: Padrão animal!
Peço imensa desculpa se fugi um pouco do que é costume ver-se nestas manicures mas a verdade é que não existem muitos padrões animal que se possam fazer. Seria girafa, leopardo, tigre, zebra, cobra ou peixe, são as mais comuns, e eu não queira fazer nenhuma dessas e optei por homenagear o meu animal preferido: a Orca (tristemente conhecida como Baleia Assassina)! Apesar de não ter (nem nunca ter tido nenhuma :P) nem nunca ter visto nenhuma (ainda não perdi a esperança apesar de toda a situação que envolve ver uma Orca ter os seus contras (se for no habitat natural é perigoso, se for num parque é triste porque sou contra isso)) decidi fazer um "padrão orca" nas unhas.
Vernizes utilizados: Ivsty #283 (1 camada base); H&M mini verniz branco (para cobrir a primeira base); OPI mini colecção de Halloween Witch Arm e OPI colecção mini de Halloween I Love Mummy (para a mancha branca acima do olho da orca). Não usei topcoat.
Foi divertida de se fazer e gostei do resultado mas fiquei triste por ninguém ter percebido à primeira o que era! :( :P

*Manicure for the 13th day of the 31 Days Challenge: Animal print!
I'm sorry if I escaped a bit to what we are used to see in this theme but there aren't a lot of animal prints to choose, it would be leopard, zebra, tiger, giraffe, fish or snake, which are the most commum, but I didn't want to make any of those so I choose to pay a tribute to my favourite animal: Orca (also sadly known as Killer Whale)! Despite not having (and never have had :P) nor seen one (I still haven't lost my hope despite the whole situation that seeing one involves has its downs (if it's in its natural habitat it is dangerous and if it is in a park it's sad 'cause I'm against it)) I decided to draw a "orca print" on my nails.
Nail polishes I used: Ivsty #283 (1 base coat); H&M mini polish in white (to cover the first base coat); OPI Halloween mini collection Witch Arm and OPI Halloween mini collection I Love Mummy (for the white spot above the orca's eyes). I didn't use topcoat.
It was very funny to do but I was so sad that no one guessed what it was when I asked! :( :P

Desafio dos 31 dias - DIA 12 *31 days Challenge - DAY 12

E aqui está a manicure do dia 12! Riscas! Esta manicure deixou-me muito indecisa e andei de unhas nuas até escolher algo :P
Cor base: Essence Ballerina Backstage #05 Grand-Plié in Black (2 camadas)
Risca central branca: OPI Colecção mini de Halloween I Love Mummy (2 camadas)
Riscas vermelhas laterais: Claire's Pincel Especial Vermelho
Topcoat: CLICHÉ Extra Brilho
Nas riscas brancas das unhas dos anelares e polegares utilizei pedrinhas pretas de alto a baixo na risca.
Todos os vernizes aplicaram muito bem! E fiquei admirada com o tempo de secagem do Grand-Plié in Black, secou muito rápido tendo em conta que a segunda camada de verniz teve de ser generosa de modo a evitar "carecadas" nas unhas ;)

*And here it is the manicure for day 12! Stripes! This manicure was particularly difficult to choose and I was wearing bare nails until I decided what to do :P
Base colour: Essence Ballerina Backstage #05 Grand-Plié in Black (2 coats)
White central stripe: OPI Halloween mini collection I love Mummy (2 coats)
Red side stripes: Claire's Special Brush in Red
Topcoat: CLICHÉ Extra Shine
On the white stripes of my thumb and ring fingers nails I used black rhinestones all the way up the stripes.
All nail polishes applied very good and I was very admired with the drying time of Grand-Plié in Black, it dried really fast for a nail polish which the second coat had to be a generous one to avoid "bald" spots on the nails ;)

Desafio dos 31 dias - DIA 11 *31 days Challenge - DAY 11

Manicure do dia 11 (não podia ser mais aborrecida -_-) - Bolinhas Polka (por alguma razão isto é mesmo um padrão.....).
Como, na minha opinião, não há manicure mas aborrecida do que o padrão bolinhas Polka (eu até gosto de bolinhas e tudo mas saber que "Polka Dots" - Bolinhas Polka - afinal é mesmo um padrão... ai ai... que coisa aborrecida! Chamar-lhe simplesmente bolinhas é fixe!), e com isto não quer dizer que não goste, tentei usar cores menos aborrecidas para a realizar: 2 camadas do verniz Mad Magenta da piCture pOlish como cor base e o verniz Colour&Go da Essence #09 Get the Fever para as bolinhas. Terminei com o topcoat habitual. Ah, inspirei-me na combinação de cores que vi na primeira foto deste post do blog da Crystal!
Adoro as cores que usei, o que fez com que a manicure não se torna-se tão enfadonha. Mas no geral esta manicure é mesmo de passar ao lado.
De qualquer modo respeito quem gosta, a minha única revolta é haver um padrão chamado "Bolinhas Polka" (wtf??), por isso espero que gostem! :P

*Manicure of day 11 (couldn't be more boring -_-) - Polka Dots (for some reason this is a pattern.......).
In my opinion there isn't a much more boring manicure than Polka Dots (I mean, I like dots and such but just to know that Polka Dots is actually a pattern... ai ai... what a booooring thing! Calling it just dots is fine!), which doesn't mean I don't like it, so I tried to used atractive colours to do this: 2 coats of Mad Magenta by piCture pOlish as base colour and Essence Colour&Go #09 Get the Fever for the dots. I finished it with the usual topcoat. Oh, just for the records, the colour combo was inspired by the first photo of this post on Crystal's blog!
I really love the colours I used which, in my opinion, made this manicure not as lame as it seems to me. But in general this manicure is something I would avoid.
Anyways I respect those who like this, my only turmoil is the fact that there is actually a pattern called "Polka Dots" (wtf???), so I hope you enjoy this! :P

Desafio dos 31 dias - DIA 10 *31 days Challenge - DAY 10

O desafio do dia 10 era o que eu menos queria fazer por se tratar de algo que nunca fiz. Unhas em degradé de cores. Conhecia a arte mas não a técnica, para além de nunca a ter feito. Ora esta acabou por ser uma das minhas manicures preferidas e, para quem nunca fez, até nem saiu mal! ;) Em vez de pintar com os pincéis dos vernizes (exceptuando a cor base) pintei com uma esponjinha de maquilhagem :) e segui este tutorial da MissChievous que estava no Youtube.
Escolhi a cor rosa para esta manicure porque no desafio não há nenhuma manicure rosa e eu adoro rosa!
Vernizes usados pela ordem do degradé: Flormar P053 (cor base, 2 camadas), H&M Pink Mouse, Risqué Rosa Pitanga, P2 #560 Scandal e Essence Twins #04 Carrie. Terminei com o topcoat do costume :)
Não tinha expectativa nenhuma para este dia do desafio e afinal adorei! Espero que também gostem ;)

*The challenge for the 10th day was the least I wanted to do because it was something I had never done before. Gradient nails. I knew the art but I didn't know the technique, besides I had never tried to do it. It turns out that this is actually one of my favourite manicures and, for someone who has never done it, it came out pretty cool! ;) Instead of painting with the polish brushes (exception for the base colour) I had to paint with a little make up sponge :) and I followed this tutorial on Youtube by MissChievous.
I chose pink for this challenge because there is no pink manicure on it and I love pink!
Nail polishes I used by gradient order: Flormar P053 (base colour, 2 coats), H&M Pink Mouse, Risqué Rosa Pitanga, P2 #560 Scandal and Essence Twins #04 Carrie. I finished it with the usual topcoat :)
I wasn't expecting a thing for today's challenge and after all I loved it! I hope you like it too ;)
