Depois de coisas feias nada como alegrar o espírito *After ugly stuff there's nothing like cheering the spirit up

Depois de alguma incompetência por parte do Centro de "Desemprego", que me deixou mais e pior do que abrazada!, tive the ir comprar alguns vernizes para animar..... a minha mãe comprou-me o Lapis Lazuli da Risqué (da colecção Fosco e Jóias Místicas de Outono/Inverno), é um matte como nunca vi antes!, e eu comprei... adivinhem?... um verniz holográfico da Flormar! O meu primeiro verniz holográfico de sempre!!!!!!!! E não precisei de mandar vir de outro país!!! Incrível! Estava tão contente que não parava de andar às voltas a olhar para as unhas e a mover as mãos para reflectirem todas as cores! E o matte azul?? Lindo também! Passei o dia inteiro a passar os dedos nas unhas porque a textura é tão agradável ao toque! Acho que vou estabelecer uma diferença entre matte e fosco ;) Seguindo para as fotos!

*After some incompetence from the "Unemployment" Office, which left me with a head so so so hot!, I had to go and buy nail polishes.... my mother bought me Lapis Lazuli by Risqué (from the Fosco and Mistical Gems Autumn/Winter Collection), it's a matte but a matte like I've never seen equal!, and I bought a.... guess what??.... a holographic nail polish by Flormar! My very first holographic nail polish ever!!!!!!! And I didn't have to order it from another country!!! Amazing! I was so happy I wouldn't stop dancing around looking at my nails and moving them on the lights to flash all colours! And the blue matte?? Just awesome too! I spent the whole day rubbing my nails 'cause the texture is so good to the touch! I think I'll establish a difference between matte and fosco (fosco means steamed up/dull/foggy) ;) Anyways, on to the photos!

Aqui deixo agora algumas manicures que fiz sempre inspiradas noutras manicures (que não me pertencem). Foram feitas há mais de um ano mas sempre com muita paixão e gosto. Lembro-me tão bem como se fosse ontem. A minha aflição! Queria fazer manicures!!! Mas não tinha unhas que chegassem!!! E então pedia à minha mãe e irmã, vizinhas e colegas para fazer... mas elas nem sempre queriam e aí eu desesperava... cheguei a pedir ao meu namorado para lhe fazer, eu fotografava e ele tirava logo... mas a resposta foi sempre "não"....... felizmente acalmei mas a paixão é sempre enorme! ^__^

*Here I leave you some manicures I've made always inspired on other manicures (which aren't originally mine). These were made more than a year ago but the passion and love were always there. I remember so well as if it was yesterday. I was so afflicted! I wanted to make manicures!!! But my nails were not enough!!! And so I would ask my mother and my sister, my neighbours and my mates to make on them... but they wouldn't want it all the time and then I would despair... there was a time when I asked my boyfriend if I could use his nails, I would take the photos and he could clean it up right after... but the answer was always "no"........ gladly I calmed down but my passion is always so huge! ^__^

Manicure Harry Potter *Harry Potter Manicure

Esta foi a manicure que fiz em Novembro do ano passado quando fui ao cinema ver o filme Harry Poter e os Talismãs da Morte (pt.1).

*This was the manicure I've made November last year when I went to the cinema to watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (pt.1).

Ui... coisas velhas de quando ainda não tinha prática :P *Ouch... old material from when I wasn't skilled :P

Aqui deixo agora algumas fotos de manicures que fiz quando ainda me aperfeiçoava na técnica... tudo foi trabalho e tudo deu frutos por isso vale a pena partilhar ;)

Manicure de Passagem de Ano *My New Year's Eve mani

Duas camadas do verniz Lime Up! da Essence foram o suficiente para a minha passagem de ano, isto porque queria algo associado à esperança pois estava com um optimismo desmedido quanto a 2011 mas não queria nada elaborado.... o que para algumas pessoas pode parecer não fazer sentido absolutamente nenhum! :P
Com estas unhas transitei para 2011 :)

*Two coats of Lime Up! by Essence were enough for me on my new year's eve, this was because I wanted a colour related to hope 'cause I was feeling extremely optimistic about 2011 but I didn't want anything that elaborate... which may sound like a lot of non-sense for some people! :P
With these nails I transited to 2011 :)

 

Verniz cor-de-rosa vivo da Claire's *Hot Pink nail polish by Claire's

Este verniz já tem um bom tempinho de existência na minha casa, mas continua a "funcionar" :P algo que nunca percebi é o porquê da Claire's não nomear estes vernizes... tenho e já tive alguns e nunca os posso chamar pelo nome :S Este é um creme rosa vivo de super fácil aplicação e opaco em 2 camadas, tal como nas imagens ;) fotos algo antigas...

*This nail polish exists for quite a while in my house but it still "works" :P something I never understood is why Claire's doesn't give a name to these polishes... I have, and had, some of these nail polishes and I can never call them by their specific name :S This is a hot pink creme, super easy to apply and fully opaque in 2 coats just like in the photos ;) somewhat old these photos...
