Manicure de Páscoa 2013 *Easter Manicure 2013

Boa noite!
Espero que tenham tido uma boa Páscoa. A minha foi boa.
Ora Páscoa, para mim, além de significar engorda também significa... manicure temática! :D
Aqui vos deixo a manicure de Páscoa que fiz este ano e que já queria fazer há uns tempos. Revelou-se fácil e fofa. Experimentem! :D
P.S.: Nas primeiras 4 fotos não estou a usar topcoat.

Ok so Easter, for me, besides meaning "fatter" it also means... thematic manicure! :D
I'm going to show you the Easter manicure I've made this year, which I really wanted to do for quite a few time now. It happened, after all, to be easy and cute. Try it on! :D
P.S.: On the first 4 photos I'm not wearing topcoat.

Illamasqua Manicure

Boa noite!
Já não falta muito para o Natal e as unhitas de cores temáticas já andam no ar :)
Aqui vos mostro uma manicure muito recente. Para a fazer utilizei um par da Illamasqua - o Harsh e o Boosh - que o meu namorado me ofereceu no meu aniversário do ano passado.
Passei duas camadas do Harsh que se aplica sem qualquer problema e seca sem problema algum (Illamasqua, what else!? :D), colei umas tirinhas de fita adesiva colorida ao acaso e passei uma boa camada do Boosh que, mais uma vez, não dei problema nenhum no que quer que fosse :P Já mencionei que é da Illamasqua que estamos a falar? :P
Antes de secar, removi as tirinhas de fita (pela ordem contrária de aplicação, ou seja, a que colei primeiro foi a última a ser tirada) e depois foi só passar o topcoat e fiquei prontinha para o que quer que fosse XD Gostam?

It's already Christmas time and the nails with thematic colours are already out there :)
Here I show you a very recent manicure. I used an Illamasqua pair - Harsh and Boosh - that my boyfriend offered me last year on my birthday.
I used two coats of Harsh which applied flawlessly and dried with no problems (Illamasqua, what else!? :D), I used some thin adhesive stripes randomly and then I used a good layer of Boosh which, once again, didn't offer any trouble at all :P Have I already mentioned this is Illamasqua we are talking about? :P
Before drying I removed all the stripes (in inverse order of application, the first to apply was the last to remove) and then I finished it off with a layer of topcoat and I was ready to whatever I needed to be ready for XD Do you like it?

The Halloween Challenge 2012 - #10

Boas noites!
Venho por este meio apresentar (tardiamente) a última manicure do desafio: recriar a nossa manicure favorita.
Decidi recriar a do sangue :P Foi uma escolha que ficou decidida assim que fiz a manicure de "splatter" anterior :)
Esta voltou a sair bem e fiquei muito contente com o resultado. Aconselho vivamente a tentarem! Mas dou um conselho: usem palhinhas das fininhas e não das mais largas.

I come by this means to show you (belatedly) the last manicure of the challenge: to recreate our favourite manicure.
I decided to recreate the blood one :P It was a choice that was made as soon as I made the previous splatter :)
This one came out nicely too and I was pretty happy with the result. I truly recommend you to try it! But I give you a piece of advice: use a thin straw and not a wide one.

The Halloween Challenge 2012 - #08

Boas tardes!
Hoje foi o dia em que consegui, finalmente, acompanhar o desafio!
Estava difícil mas consegui :P Isto tudo foi resultado de mera preguiça para vir ao computador, mais nada ;)
A manicure de dia 25 de Outubro pede, nada mais nada menos do que.... Sangue! Derramamento de sangue! Sangue espalhado! Acho que já apanharam a ideia XD
Foi a minha segunda vez a tentar a técnica "splatter" e, ou escolhi muito bem os vernizes, ou aprendi imenso com os erros da primeira (que já foi feita assim que apareceu a técnica mas que correu tão mal que nem teve direito a foto XD).
Decidi usar as cores normais: vermelho e branco. Mas também decidi acrescentar uns zombies à manicure, portanto há sangue humano e sangue zombie :D Espero que gostem!

Today was the day in which I finally managed to keep track of this challenge!
This was really difficult but I got it :P it was all in result of a big fat laziness to come to the computer, that's all ;)
The manicure of day 25 of October asks for nothing more or less than... Blood! Blood splatter! Blood everywhere! I think you've got the point XD
This was my second time trying out the splatter technique and, either I chose the nail polishes very well or I learned a lot from my first one's mistakes (which was made quite a few time ago when the technique was the new black and it went so bad that I didn't even take photos XD).
I decided to use the usual colour combo: red and white. But I also wanted to add some zombies to the manicure so there are human blood but also zombie blood :D I hope you like it!

Isto é engraçado. No blog estou atrasada em relação aos posts das manicures de Halloween, mas a verdade é que estou a fazê-las no devido dia, aqui é que me atraso a pô-las :P
A manicure de hoje já está feita mas a que venho mostrar é a de dia 9: Zombies!
Os meus zombizinhos acabaram por parecer mais Frankensteins, mas a verdade é que esse fulano era um zombie praticamente, não? Feito com pedaços de cadáveres e "ressuscitado"... o que mais lhe poderíamos chamar (para além de monstro :P)?

This is funny. On my blog I am quite delayed posting my Halloween manicures but the truth is I am already doing them on time, I mean, I am doing them on the respective day, but then I delay the posts :P
Today's manicure is already done but the one I'm showing you is from day 9: Zombies!
My little zombies ended up looking like Frankensteins but truth said, is that this Frankenstein guy was practically a zombie, right? I mean, made out off dead bodies' parts and brought back to life... what else would we call it (besides monster :P)?
