The Halloween Challenge 2012 - #09

Boa tarde!
Para continuar a acompanhar o desafio, aqui está a penúltima manicure: inspirada num filme assutador.
Isto para mim é complicado porque maior parte dos filmes deste ramo podem ser perturbantes mas não assustadores. Entretanto lá consegui decidir-me por um filme que me arrepia bastante, argumento, banda sonora, situações... you name it! Além disso é inspirado num jogo que de si é também creepy shit!
Ao olhar para a manicure podem nem chegar lá, mas foi a imagem que me surgiu na cabeça.
Apresento-vos a minha manicure inspirada no filme "Silent Hill - A maldição do vale".
Quem conhece o filme sabe que em Silent Hill a paisagem é sempre em tons monocromáticos, cinzentos, pretos, sépia... eu decidi fazer uma manicure baseada no cenário de Silent Hill em que caem cinzas do céu.

To keep up with the challenge, here it is the second last manicure: inspired by a scary movie.
For me this is very complicated because most part of this type of movies cane be chilling but not exactly scary. But I managed to make my decision and I picked a movie that gives me the creeps, either it's the story, soundtrack, situations... you name it! Besides, it is inspired by a videogame that is already some creepy shit!
By looking at the manicure I'm pretty sure you would never get there, but it was the image that came to my mind.
I present you my manicure inspired by the movie "Silent Hill".
Those who know this movie know that Silent Hill is very grey, dark, sepia... I decided to make a manicure based on the scene of Silent Hill when ashes are falling from the sky.

Desafio dos 31 dias - DIA 29 *31 days Challenge - DAY 29

A minha irmã emprestada (leia-se vizinha do lado) foi aos E.U.A. e trouxe-me de lá umas coisinhas geniais que me animaram mais a época de Halloween. Vejam só as beldades que ela me arranjou.
*My borrowed sister (read next door neighbour) went to the U.S.A. and brought me a couple of lovelies that cheered my Halloween season a bit more. Check out the beauties she got me.

É claro que não pude deixar de os utilizar neste dia do desafio.
Manicure inspirada pelo sobrenatural.
Tenho um vasto "conhecimento" nesta área pois sempre foi uma grande curiosidade da minha pessoa (lembro-me de há dez anos atrás ir de propósito à biblioteca da minha terrinha alugar livros sobre o tema :P e confesso que ainda hoje é das coisas que mais pesquiso no Youtube... vergonha! XD) mas que raio poria eu numa manicure? Já utilizei extraterrestres na manicure inspirada por uma música e já utilizei galáxias e planetas também. Poderia fazer fantasminhas mas para ser sincera só me lembrei disso agora mesmo -_- enfim... fiz uma manicure inspirada por algo do assunto que marcou a minha infância e pré-adolescência.
Vernizes utilizados:
- Frasco R.I.P. Fantasy Makers #12420 Poção Violeta (cor base, duas camadas);
- Essence Colour&Go #56 Got a Secret (para as letras).
Terminei com topcoat.
Simples mas simbólica :P

Manicure inspired by the supernatural.
I have a large "knowledge" in the subject because it has always been a big curiosity of my person (I remember going to the library on purpose just to read books about it :P and I must confess it still is one of the subjects I search the most on Youtube... shame on me! XD) but what the hell would I put on a manicure? I have already used extraterrestrials, planets and galaxies on previous manicures for the challenge. Ok I could have done some ghosts but I honestly admit I only remembered that now -_- anyways... I made something around the subject that marked my childhood and pre-teenage.
Nails polishes I used:
- R.I.P. bottle Fantasy Makers #12420 Purple Potion (base colour, two coats);
- Essence Colour&Go #56 Got a Secret (for the letters).
I finished with topcoat.
Simple but simbolic :P

Desafio dos 31 dias - DIA 9 *31 days Challenge - DAY 9

Tenho imensa pena de não ter conseguido fazer este desafio de seguida, mas cheira-me que, com esta manicure, vou continuar a quebrar isso :P
Manicure do dia 9: Unhas arco-íris.
Vernizes utilizados: Essence Twin #02 Romeo (cor base, 2 camadas); Essence Colour&Go #56 Got a Secret (para as nuvens e gotas de chuva) e BYS Shimmer Golden Sands (para o sol). Para o arco-íris usei pedrinhas! ^___^ Selei tudo com o topcoat da Essence, o do costume (Nail Art Sealing Topcoat).
Espero que gostem. O dia hoje esteve particularmente cinzento mas agora o sol apareceu :) Nota-se mesmo que o Outono está aí à porta!

*I am so sorry that I wasn't able to keep the pace of this challenge, doing it on a row, but, with a manicure like today's, I bet I am going to break that pace more than once :P
Manicure of day 9: Rainbow nails.
Nail polishes used: Essence Twin #02 Romeo (base colour, 2 coats); Essence Colour&Go #56 Got a Secret (for the clouds and rain drops) and BYS Shimmer Golden Sands (for the sun). For the rainbow I used rhinestones! ^___^ I sealed everything with a topcoat by Essence, the usual one (Nail Art Sealing Topcoat).
I hope you like this. Today was particularly cloudy but the sun just showed up :) We can tell that Autumn is coming any minute!
