Esta foi a última manicure de Natal que usei :)

Está a ficar Natal e eu tenho-o nas unhas!
O que escrevo por vezes é meio tonto, não é? Peço desculpa :/
A verdade é que estou entusiasmada e passo a minha boa disposição para as minhas unhas com tanto Natal à minha volta :D Respiro Natal e depois ele sai-me pela ponta dos dedos :D
Ora bem, mais uma manicure de Natal que, não tivesse sido a minha pressa, teria saído melhor. Quero dizer, não saiu mal, só que não deixei o verniz dos bonequitos secar completamente antes de passar o topcoat... enfim... os meus bonecos de neve parecem mais personagens de um filmeco de terror XD

It's getting Christmasy and I have it on my nails!
Sometimes what I write sounds a bit foolish, doesn't it? I'm sorry about it :/
The truth is I am really excited and I let you see it through my nails with so much Christmas around me :D I breathe Christmas and then it comes right out from the tips of my fingers :D
Ok, so this is another Christmas manicure that, if it wasn't for my rush, it would have come out better. I mean, it didn't come out bad but I didn't let the snowmen dry enough before the topcoat so... my snowmen look more like characters out of a cheap horror film XD

The Halloween Challenge 2012 - #09

Boa tarde!
Para continuar a acompanhar o desafio, aqui está a penúltima manicure: inspirada num filme assutador.
Isto para mim é complicado porque maior parte dos filmes deste ramo podem ser perturbantes mas não assustadores. Entretanto lá consegui decidir-me por um filme que me arrepia bastante, argumento, banda sonora, situações... you name it! Além disso é inspirado num jogo que de si é também creepy shit!
Ao olhar para a manicure podem nem chegar lá, mas foi a imagem que me surgiu na cabeça.
Apresento-vos a minha manicure inspirada no filme "Silent Hill - A maldição do vale".
Quem conhece o filme sabe que em Silent Hill a paisagem é sempre em tons monocromáticos, cinzentos, pretos, sépia... eu decidi fazer uma manicure baseada no cenário de Silent Hill em que caem cinzas do céu.

To keep up with the challenge, here it is the second last manicure: inspired by a scary movie.
For me this is very complicated because most part of this type of movies cane be chilling but not exactly scary. But I managed to make my decision and I picked a movie that gives me the creeps, either it's the story, soundtrack, situations... you name it! Besides, it is inspired by a videogame that is already some creepy shit!
By looking at the manicure I'm pretty sure you would never get there, but it was the image that came to my mind.
I present you my manicure inspired by the movie "Silent Hill".
Those who know this movie know that Silent Hill is very grey, dark, sepia... I decided to make a manicure based on the scene of Silent Hill when ashes are falling from the sky.

The Halloween Challenge 2012 - #03

Boa dia!
Isto é engraçado. No blog estou atrasada em relação aos posts das manicures de Halloween, mas a verdade é que estou a fazê-las no devido dia, aqui é que me atraso a pô-las :P
A manicure de hoje já está feita mas a que venho mostrar é a de dia 9: Zombies!
Os meus zombizinhos acabaram por parecer mais Frankensteins, mas a verdade é que esse fulano era um zombie praticamente, não? Feito com pedaços de cadáveres e "ressuscitado"... o que mais lhe poderíamos chamar (para além de monstro :P)?
Aqui estão os meus zombies!

This is funny. On my blog I am quite delayed posting my Halloween manicures but the truth is I am already doing them on time, I mean, I am doing them on the respective day, but then I delay the posts :P
Today's manicure is already done but the one I'm showing you is from day 9: Zombies!
My little zombies ended up looking like Frankensteins but truth said, is that this Frankenstein guy was practically a zombie, right? I mean, made out off dead bodies' parts and brought back to life... what else would we call it (besides monster :P)?

The Halloween Challenge October 2012

Olá!
Não fazia ideia de que estava a rolar no blogs de vernizes o desafio de Halloween de 2012!
Adivinhem se vou participar ou não.... XD
Está mais do que aceite!
E comecei hoje, estou atrasada um par de dias, mas nada que não consiga compensar.
O desafio não é diário portanto não consiste em 31 manicures.
A primeira foi a de dia 1, claro está, e o tema era "Trick or Treats" (Doçura ou Travessura).
O que me saiu da cabeça para as unhas foi...

I started today, I'm a couple of days behind, but I can easily catch up with it.
The challenge is not daily so there are no 31 manicures.
The first one was from day 1, of course, and the theme was Trick or Treats.

Todas as manicures LUSH têm um nome diferente no título XD ai ai...
Mas pronto, hoje venho mostrar mais uma manicure que fiz a pensar num produto da marca. Desta vez é a balística (que ainda existe! :P) Think Pink ^__^ Cheira tão bem esta balística! Coisas docinhas, e tem florinhas de açúcar e tudo!

Every LUSH manicure I make it has a different name on the tittle XD oh my...
But anyway, today I'm here to show you another manicure I've made inspired in a product by the brand. This time is a bath bomb that still exists! :P It's Think Pink ^__^ It smells so so good this one! Sweet things, it even has sugar flowers in it!
But why words? Here I leave you a picture of the bath bomb and my manicure :)

A segunda manicure que fiz inspirada num produto da Lush também não ficou muito má :P
Servi-me de imagens da Ma Bar, uma espuma de banho de cacau, mel, caramelo e açúcar que, infelizmente, não conseguimos apanhar porque já foi descontinuada :( Aparentemente era um best-seller, muita gente gostava imenso dela, mas pronto, pode ser que volte um dia :)
Mas vamos matar saudades olhando para as minhas unhas XD
Aqui fica, nas minhas unhas, Ma Bar!

P.S.: Calhou ir a uma Lush com a Ma Bar nas unhas e fiquei radiante por uma das empregadas da loja ter reparado. A sério, não coube em mim de contente, porque a reacção dela foi: "*agarra-me na mão* Não posso crer! É uma Ma Bar!!!" Fiquei mesmo muito contente por ela ter reconhecido e ter afirmado que era uma, nem me perguntou nada :P

The second manicure I've done inspired by a Lush product didn't come out so bad either :P
I looked at some images of Ma Bar and decided it was it! A bubble bar with cocoa, honey, toffee and sugar which, unfortunatelly, we aren't able to get because it was discontinued :( Apparently this was a best-seller, lots of people loved it, but that's it, maybe it will come back some day :)
But lets look at it one more time on my nails so we won't miss it so much, shall we? XD
Here it is, on my nails, Ma Bar!

P.S.: I happened to go to a Lush store with this manicure and I was so radiant because one of the employers noticed it. Really, I couldn't be happier because her reaction was like: "*holding my hand* I can't believe this! It's a Ma Bar!!!" I was really astonished that she noticed it, recognized it and she didn't even asked me a thing :P
