Na KIKO comprei dois batons. Cada um custou 2€. Estou a ver se começo a usar batons. Por alguma razão tenho sempre receio de os usar para sair, não sei bem porquê... acho simplesmente que nunca gostei muito dos meus lábios de modo a usar um produto que os delinea tão bem...
Enfim... comprei um Shiny Lipstick #59 Light Rosy Lilac e um Mat Lipstick #11 Candy Pink. Não reparei que este último era matte. Evito sempre comprar produtos matte para os lábios pois têm tendência para secá-los, mas desta vez até fiquei contente por não ter reparado pois o batom é apenas semi-matte e, por incrível que pareça, é bastante hidratante! Os meus lábios são a coisa mais esquisitinha do mundo e até tratamentos que são suposto ajudar só mos arruinam mas não este #11 Candy Pink.
Passemos às fotos.

On a KIKO store I bought two lipsticks. Each of them costed 2€. I'm trying to wear lipsticks. For some unknown reason I have always disliked going out wearing a lipstick... I think I just never liked my lips that much to wear a product that defines them so well...
Anyway... I bought a Shiny Lipstick #59 Light Rosy Lilac and a Mat Lipstick #11 Candy Pink. I didn't notice this last one was a matte. I always avoid matte products for lips because they have a tendency to dry them, but this time I was really happy I skipped that because this lipstick is only demi-matte and as amazing as it may seem it is pretty moisturizing! My lips are the most picky thing in the world and even treatments that are meant to help only make them worse but not this #11 Candy Pink.
On to the photos.

#59 Light Rosy Lilac é um batom brilhante com uma cor pouco definida. A base é acastanhada (pois é a cor que fica no papel quando limpamos os lábios) mas nos lábios é um roxo/lilás com reflexos rosa e azul. Este batom pode ser meio irritante de aplicar. É um batom iridiscente e por isso às vezes parece que não está a ficar nada nos lábios quando o estamos a aplicar e é possível que fiquemos um tempo a passar o batom nos lábios à espera de ver alguma coisa. A verdade é que só notamos que está algo nos lábios quando mexemos a cabeça :P (como podem ver pela foto, dependendo da luz, parece que tenho ou não batom. Da esquerda para a direita parece que tenho batom arroxeado, no meio vê-se apenas os reflexos e no fim nem parece que tenho batom). Gostei, é elegante! Só havia este!
*#59 Light Rosy Lilac is a shimmery lipstick with a non-defined colour. The base is brown-ish ('cause this is the colour that appears on a napkin when we clean the lips) but on the lips it assumes a purple/lilac colour with pink and blue reflexes. This lipstick may be annoying to apply. It's an iridiscent lipstick and so sometimes it seems that we are getting no product on the lips when we apply it and it is quite possible that we keep applying the lipstick until we see something. Truth is we only notice we do have the lipstick applied when we move our head :P (as you can see in the photos, depending on the light, it may look that I do or don't have lipstick. From left to right it seems that I have a purple-ish lipstick, then in the middle it only shows the reflexes and on the end it doesn't even seem to be there any colour). I like it, it's very elegant! This was the last one in the store!

#11 Candy Pink é o meu preferido dos dois batons. Como dá para reparar é apenas semi-matte e a cor é um rosinha avermelhado, um coral suave muito fraquinho apenas para dar uma cor aos lábios mais descoraditos. É uma cor óptima para quem deseja looks de maquilhagem mais neutros ou naturais pois é uma cor muito parecida ao avermelhado natural dos lábios. Adorei! Não percebo como é que a cuba estava cheia deles ainda! :P

*#11 Candy Pink is my favourite of the two. As you can see this is only a demi-matte lipstick and the colour is a reddish pink, a very soft and light coral, only to give a bit of colour to the most discoloured lips. It is a great choice for those who want natural or neutral make-up looks because this colour is very similar to the natural reddish of lips. I loved it! I don't understand how the cube was still full of them in the store! :P

Campanha de 50% de desconto Vichy (*Portugal only)

Olá! Boas noites!
Eu aproveitei hoje a campanha dos 50% de desconto da Vichy e ainda bem que o fiz! Para além de ter feito o que considero um excelente negócio, a única farmácia aderente na minha terrinha já só tinha 2 cupões! E fui lá depois de almoço! Também só devem ter mandado uns 10 por isso... enfim...

Pelos vistos podemos ter direito a mais do que um cupão pois a campanha é limitada ao stock de cupões por loja e não a um cupão por cliente. Conclusão: fiquei com os dois últimos cupões e trouxe dois produtos pelo preço de um :)
Como não tinha desmaquilhante foi isso mesmo que aproveitei para trazer. Aqui estão as minhas escolhas:

Um Desmaquilhante Integral Purete Thermal 3 em 1 (Leite de limpeza, loção e desmaquilhante de olhos) para peles sensíveis. 200 ml, prazo de validade de 6 meses após a abertura e tinha um preço original de 13.55€;
Um Desmaquilhante Total Ultra-Suave Purete Thermal, Novo - para peles secas e sensíveis (o meu triste caso). 200 ml, prazo de validade de 12 meses após a abertura e o preço original era de 13€.
Paguei então um total de 13.27€ pelos dois produtos.

Nesta imagem chamo a atenção para o seguinte: os códigos com os preços. Assim como eu reparei e questionei, reparem também vocês nos preços. Pois é, agarrei num dos produtos a pensar que era 12.75€ e acabou por ser 13€, isto porquê? Porque ainda tem a etiqueta antiga com o IVA a 20%. Ora, não me apeteceu aborrecer com o farmacêutico por isto. Se tivessem lá marcados os 13€ eu tinha trazido na mesma. Mas a questão é que nós não somos obrigados a reparar nestas coisas (embora ultimamente me convença de que TEMOS MESMO de reparar nestas coisas, caso contrário somos chulados de uma maneira que nem vos passa pela cabeça!) e as lojas são obrigadas a vender-nos o produto pelo preço que está demonstrado. Um dia farei um post acerca do assunto pois é algo que me tem acontecido infinitamente com um determinado super/hipermercado *tosse*Continente*tosse*. Mas pronto, é apenas para alertar para eventuais situações. Não que vos vá acontecer, eu é que costumo ter imensa "sorte" com este tipo de mer*** -_-

Termino este post referindo apenas que: se estão em contenção de gastos neste ramo aproveitem porque a Vichy é uma marca relativamente cara e é uma óptima oportunidade de arranjar aquele produto que sempre quiseram mas que estava muito caro.
É também uma excelente oportunidade para quem nunca experimentou produtos da marca e tem algumas dúvidas quanto aos produtos. Assim, caso um produto não se adeque à pessoa, pelo menos não foi dinheiro completamente perdido.
Eu aproveitei porque estava sem desmaquilhante e gostei muito dos da Vichy quando os usei há uns anos atrás. Entretanto deixei de ter possibilidades para gastar tanto dinheiro num desmaquilhante e então agora vinguei-me! :D

A sério! Aproveitem que esta campanha é de se lhe tirar o chapéu! E lembrem-se que podem ter mais do que um cupão por pessoa ;)

Essence - Crystalliced Swatches

A minha irmã comprou-me esta colecção suave da Essence, a Edição Limitada Crystalliced que eu já tinha limpo da ideia pois não havia meio de aparecer nas lojas. Entretanto cá está ela, linda, brilhante, suave e geladinha de um modo quente ;) Espero que gostem! Eu, tendo em conta que não uso muito estes tons, adorei! :D
*My sister bought me this soft collection by Essence, the LE Crystalliced that I had already washed out of my mind since it hadn't appear on stores until now. But anyway, here it is, beautiful, shiny, smooth and frozen in a warm way ;) I hope you like it! Having in mind that I don't really use these tones, I actually loved them! :D

#01 It's a Snow-Woman's World - Este é um verniz "enganoso". Se olharmos com atenção para ele não é apenas a base cinzenta/arroxeada/lama que parece ser mas sim uma base dessa cor mas cheia de shimmer (brilhinhos) roxo, que infelizmente só se vê no frasquinho :( Mas não é esta a única surpresa, este verniz cobre bem com apenas 1 camada que não dá problema algum ao aplicar! O tempo de secagem é o melhor pois seca bastante depressa e a remoção é óptima pois sai com a maior das facilidades como se fosse um verniz cremoso. Chego apenas auma única conclusão: Apesar de pouco inovador e do pormenor do shimmer não se ver nas unhas, este tem de ser o mais prático verniz da colecção pois é óptimo de aplicar, cobre com uma camada, seca rápido e remove-se facilmente :)

*#01 It's a Snow-Woman's World - This is a tricky nail polish. If we look carefully this isn't just our average grey/purple-ish/mud base that looks like, it is indeed that colour but packed with purple shimmer which, unfortunatelly, can only be seen on the bottle :( But this isn't the only surprise, this nail polish covers the nail with 1 coat which applied flawlessly! The drying time is the best 'cause this dries really fast and the removal is just like a normal creme polish. I can only reach one conclusion: Despite not being novelty and the detail of the shimmer not being seen on the nails, this has to be the most practical nail polish of the collection because the application is great, it covers the nails with 1 coat, dries fast and is removal friendly :)

#02 Ice Crystals on my Window - É um verniz shimmer (com brilhinhos) rosinha/salmão/pêssego muito muito muuuuuito pálido com floquinhos perolados muito pequenos e muito espalhados. A aplicação decorreu sem problemas e cobre bem a unha com 2 camadas. O tempo de secagem é curto, é bom. A remoção também não dá problemas, um ou outro floquinho é que pode teimar em ficar na unha :P

*#02 Ice Crystals on my Window - It's a shimmer nail polish in pinkish/saumon/peach, very very veeeeeeeeeery pale with really little and scattered pearly flakies. The application is troubleless and it's opaque in 2 coats. The drying time is short which is good. The removal isn't complicated either, just one or another flakie may be stuborn to keep attached to our nails :P

#03 Iced Age Reloaded - Este verniz tem uma base castanha/béige/taupe carregadinha de micro-glitter dourado. É o verniz mais viscoso da colecção e o pincél estava uma desgraça!! Confirmem nas fotos :( Não obstante consegui uma boa aplicação depois de lhe cortar as "pontas espigadas". Este verniz cobre bem a unha com 2 camadas, o tempo de secagem está dentro do normal e a remoção não dá trabalho nenhum também.

*#03 Iced Age Reloaded - This nail polish has a brownish/béige/taupe base packed with golden micro-glitter. It's the nail polish with the thickest formula of the entire collection and the brush was such a mess!! Confirm in the photos :( Despite this I could get a nice application after cutting the messed up edges. This nail polish covers the nails with 2 coats, the drying time is the average and the removal is good.

#04 Ice Eyes Baby - É um verniz de base azulinha/acinzentada muito clara e cheia de micro-glitter azul, roxo, rosa, dourado e perolado. É o verniz mais complexo da colecção pois tem uma variedade incrível dentro do frasquinho! A aplicação é boa e cobre bem com 2 camadas. O tempo de secagem é o normal, o que não é mau obviamente e a remoção não dá problemas.

*#04 - Ice Eyes Baby - It's a nail polish with a light blue-ish/grey-ish base full of blue, purple, pink, golden and pearly micro-glitter. It's the most complex nail polish of the collection because it has an amazing variety inside the bottle! The application is good and it covers the nail with 2 coats. The drying time is the average which is not bad, obviously, and the removal is good too.

#05 Frosted Champaign - É um verniz com uma base amarela, muito muito muuuuuito pálida mesmo, cheia de micro-glitter dourado. A aplicação é boa tendo em conta a palidez do verniz e cobre bem a unha com 2 camadas. O tempo de secagem é bastante normal. A remoção também não é má, é só um pouquinho mais forçosa pois a base sai muito bem mas o micro-glitter tem tendência a ficar agarrado às unhas como um glitter (mas menos trabalhoso de tirar... não há nada pior de remover do que um glitter!) :P

*#05 Frosted Champaign - It's a nail polish with a yellow base, very very veeeeeeeery pale really, full of golden micro-glitter. The application is good if we consider the paleness of the colour and it covers the nail with 2 coats. The drying time is pretty normal. The removal isn't bad either, it's just a bit forceful because the base colour comes out nicely but the micro-glitter tends to stick to our nails like a glitter (but of course less forceful than that... there is nothing worse to remove than a glitter!) :P

Em todas a fotos usei 2 camadas de verniz sem topcoat. O curioso desta colecção é que, são tudo cores "pastel" praticamente que ficam bem tanto com 1, 2 ou 3 camadas (na minha opinião, claro). No geral as aplicações são boas e o tempo de secagem também, assim como a remoção. Tirando aquele pincél mal amanhado e o shimmer roxo do #01 It's a Snow-Woman's World não se ver na unha, adorei tudo nesta colecção! ^__^

*In every photo I used 2 coats of nail polish and no topcoat. The curious about this collection is that all these colours are practically "pastel" and they go on nicely with 1, 2 or 3 coats (in my opinion, of course). In general the applications were smooth and nice, the drying times are also very reasonable so as the removal. Apart from that strange brush and the purple shimmer on #01 It's a Snow-Woman's World not visible on the nails, I loved everything in this collection! ^__^

Nova arrumação?! *New storage?!

Pois é! Com o armário que a minha irmã comprou os vernizes estavam arrumadinhos em filas e tirar um da última fila sem derrubar os outros era tarefa praticamente impossível. Conclusão: também tenho a melhor mãe do mundo (é óbvio que são mãe e filha :P). Como a minha mãe estava a precisar de um móvel para pôr na cozinha ela comprou um novo de gavetas e trocou pelo que a minha irmã comprou. Assim ficámos as duas satisfeitas ^__^ E agora tenhos coisinhas arrumadas na cozinha (máquinas de waffles e waffers) e no escritório (os meus vernizes!).

*Indeed! With the little closet my sister bought I ahd my polishes organized in rows and to take one nail polish from the back line without taking all the others down was practically impossible. Conclusion: I also have the best mom ever (obviously they are mother and daughter :P). My mother was actually needing a closet to put in the kitchen so she bought a new one this time with drawers and swap it for the one that my sister bought. This way we both ended up winning ^__^ And now I have my stuffies tidy up in the kitchen (my waffles and waffers machines) and in the office (my nail polishes!).

Revlon #826 Perplex

Boa noite! Hoje tive um dia em grande mas algo cansativo (principalmente porque não costumo levantar-me cedo :P). No entanto não posso ir dormir nem descansar (óbvio... acho eu...) sem vous deixar imagens deste fabuloso verniz. É ele o #826 da Revlon, Perplex.
É um verniz com uma cor base castanha/cinzenta/lama com brilhinhos (vulgo shimmer) roxos. Este verniz poderia ser facilmente confundido com um verniz duocromático, mas a verdade é que o seu acabamento é shimmer. A aplicação é óptima, usei 2 camadas para cobrir completamente a unha e no final apliquei topcoat. O resultado é um verniz muito elegante apropriado maioritariamente para dias de Inverno ou noites de requinte ;)
Este verniz foi-me gentilmente oferecido pela KarenD, que tem umas unhas e um blog espectaculares!!!
Peço desculpa pelas minhas fotos não estarem grande coisa, mas este verniz é considerado um dos bons substitutos do Chanel Paradoxal. Em Portugal temos um bom substituto para esta cor também que é o andreia #110.

*Good evening! Today I had quite a day, very good but very tiring (mainly because I don't usually get up early :P). But I can't allow myself to go to bed without showing you some photos of this amazing nail polish. This is #826 by Revlon, Perplex.
It's a brown/grey/mud base with purple shimmer. This nail polish could be easily taken for a duochrome but the truth is this is a shimmer finish. The application is great, I used two coats to completely cover the nail and I used topcoat. The result is a very elegant nail polish so appropriate to Winter days but also suitable for exquisite nights ;)
This nail polish was kindly offered to me by KarenD who has amazing nails and blog!!!
I'm sorry for my photos which didn't capture the "real thing" of this nail polish. By the way, this nail polish is considered one good dupe for Chanel Paradoxal and in Portugal we also have a good substitute for that which is andreia #110.

Olhem só o que a minha irmã comprou para ela arrumar os meus vernizes! Sim, foi isso mesmo. Ela comprou o armário para ela mas é para arrumar os meus vernizes XD
Assim está tudo muito melhor pois já não se suportava ver os frasquinhos aqui por cima das secretárias.
Este móvel foi comprado no Maxmat. É suposto ser uma sapateira. Custou cerca de 60€.
Estou contente com esta compra da minha irmã :P

Saldos #2 *Sales #2

Uns dias depois de ter feito as primeiras compras nos saldos voltei à The Body Shop e comprei mais estas coisinhas (só depois disso é que comprovei que a TBS andava a anhar forte com os preços dos saldos). Mas aqui ficam as belezinhas que comprei :) Adorei tudo o que comprei na loja TBS mas não volto a comprar lá.

*A few days after buying my first things on sales I came back to The Body Shop and I bought these beauties (only after this haul I realised that TBS was being very neglectful about the sales price, some products were sold at one price in one store and those same products had a different price at another store). I loved everything I bought at TBS but I will never buy from them again.

Estée Lauder Duo

Vi no blog da MIA, o Make Down, que a revista VOGUE do mês de Fevereiro traz uma oferta de um duo (corrector+máscara de pestanas) da marca Estée Lauder e pedi logo ao meu namorado para me encontrar e trazer a revista. E ele assim fez. Na segunda-feira já tinha este miminho em casa. A revista custou, já com a oferta, 4.50€.
Ontem tive a oportunidade de usar os dois produtos na cara o dia inteiro e por isso já posso formular uma opinião.
Resume-se tudo numa palavra: adorei!!!!
O corrector é muito bom mesmo e resulta numa textura meio matte, aplica-se muito bem também e ao fim de 8 horas ainda estava óptimo!
A máscara de pestanas foi o meu preferido do duo. Não costumo gostar daquele tipo de escovinha mas como aplicou a máscara tal e qual como eu gosto, não tenho nada de negativo a apontar. É consideravelmente resistente a choro também :P
Se quiserem apanhar esta oportunidade corram às bancas! Espero que ainda apanhem este brinde pois vale muito a pena ;)

*I read in MIA's blog, Make Down, that February's portuguese VOGUE maganize comes along with an offer: a duo (concealer+mascara) by Estée Lauder. I had to ask my boyfriend to get me that magazine and so he did it. The magazine costs 4.50€ already with the offer.
So yesterday I was able to try the products on my face and wear them all day and now I have my opinion about them.
One word: looooove!!!!
The concealer is really really good, it has kind of a matte texture and it is very easy to apply. At the end of 8 hours it was still great!
But the mascara was my favourite. I don't usually like that type of brush but it applied the mascara just theway I like it and so I have nothing negative to point out. Oh and it is considerably resistant to tears :P
I don't know about other countries VOGUE, if they come along with this beauty of not, but if they do, run to get it, it is so much worth it! ;)

Aqui usei o corrector nos olhos e para algumas imperfeições no rosto, utilizei a máscara nas pestanas. Nos lábios pus o #101 do Boticário Linha Intense Longa Duração e pó compacto anti-bacteriano da linha Pure Skin da Essence.

KIKO #256 Wild Rose Micro-Glitter

Antes de me ir deitar deixo-vos fotos do #256 da KIKO, o Micro-Glitter Rosa Selvagem.
Aplicação óptima (tendo em conta que se trata de um rosa claro), remoção sem grandes problemas, lindo lindo! Nas fotos usei 2 camadas sem topcoat.

Hoje trago-vos o #569 Flamingo da GOSH para vocês verem! E tirarem as vossas conclusões quanto à cor, claro :P
É um rosa que eu chamaria de neon. Com uma grande particularidade: só por si termina com um brilho fenomenal! Não há cá topcoats para ninguém! É de um brilho lindo!
A aplicação é boa, nas fotos tenho duas camadas e, confesso, tenho topcoat. Isto porquê: só fotografei as unhas no dia seguinte após as ter pintado e ficaram com algumas imperfeições, mínimas, mas feias nas fotos. Mas garanto que não há muita diferença do seu brilho original.

It's a pink to which I would call neon. But with a big particularity: it is very very shiny on its own! Really, it has a phenomenal glossy finish! No topcoat required! It really has an amazing shine!
The application is good, in the photos I'm wearing two coats and, I confess, I'm wearing topcoat. Why? Because I only photographed my nails one day after painting them and they got some imperfections, minimal, but ugly to be showned in photos. But I assured you the difference with or without topcoat it is not that critical.

Pessoal, a The Body Shop está a cometer "atrocidades" incríveis, de uma confusão total, nos preços dos produtos em saldos!
Os mesmos produtos em saldo estão há venda nas várias lojas mas a preços diferentes!
A diferença de preços que vi até agora vai de 1€ a 3€!
Numa loja como a The Body Shop isto é inadmissível!
Já quando fui lá pela primeira vez aos saldos vi-me no dever de informar a empregada acerca disso. Mas a comunicação é apenas feita entre lojas, ou seja, entre empregadas, o que não resulta em coisa alguma pois esta avisa a outra mas o resto fica por avisar!
O problema nisto tudo é que não consigo arranjar um contacto decente da marca para explicar o sucedido e apresentar a minha reclamação!
Umas pessoas compram um produto a 4.20€ e outras compram-no a 7€????
Umas pessoas compram um produto a 2.50€ e outras a 3.50€????
Umas pessoas compram um produto a 3.00€ e outras a 5.00€????

Não acham isto digno de reclamação e/ou reembolso???
Por favor, dêem-me as vossas opiniões, não esteja eu a fazer tempestade num copo de água! (Embora ainda assim ache que tenha razão...).

Sally Hansen #220 Celeb City

Bom diaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Eheh! Eu raramente acordo a estas horas, mas decidi ir até ali a Lisboa ver se não me falta nada dos saldos XD
Ora, venho mostrar os primeiros raios mais brilhantes do dia :P Ok, venho mas é mostrar um verniz que a minha irmã me ofereceu no Natal, é da Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear (encontram-se nos hipermercados Continente) e é o #220 Celeb City. É um verniz de acabamento alumínio que é fácil de aplicar e não dá praticamente problema nenhum em nenhum aspecto! Nas fotos utilizei três camadas porque é daqueles vernizes que quantas mais camadas se dá mais intensifica o acabamento e eu queria algo assim, tal como ficou ^__^. Ao início da aplicação pensei seriamente que não iria comprar mais nenhum Sally Hansen mas quando acabei e o verniz secou... juro que nunca vi um verniz assim. O acabamento resulta super suave e brilhante! Não precisa de topcoat nem para dar brilho nem para suavizar a superfície da unha pois este alumínio termina lisinho lisinho!!! Adorei!

Right, so I'm here to show you the first brightest rays of light of the day :P Ok, actually I'm here to show you a nail polish that my sister offered me this Christmas which is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in #220 Celeb City. It's a nail polish with a foil finish that is really easy to apply and it's not a pain in any way! In the photos I used three coats because this is one of those nail polishes that the more coats you apply the more intense the finish becomes and I was looking for something just like this,just the way it turned out ^__^. At the beginning of the application I seriously thought I wouldn't buy any other Sally Hansen nail polish but when I finished and it dried completely... I swear I've never seen a nail polish like that. It finishes up super soft and super shiny! It doesn't need any topcoat for shine or to smooth out the surface of the nail because this turns out to be a very very very smooth foil!!! I loved it!

Essence Skyscraper (Urban Messages) vs. Essence The Dawn is Broken (Vampire's Love)

Sendo uma cor relativamente na moda neste Inverno, decidi fazer uma comparação entre estes dois cinzentos da mesma marca, a Essence. Vou então comparar o Skyscraper da edição limitada Urban Messages com o The Dawn is Broken da edição limitada Vampire´s Love.
Ambos têm uma cor base cinzenta com glitter azul escuro.
A base do Skyscraper é notavelmente mais clara do que a do The Dawn is Broken, assim como o seu glitter é mais leve. O do The Dawn is Broken é mais rugoso.
Para além de serem muito diferentes, o The Dawn is Broken é uma "maravilha" de uma camada apenas, portanto Skyscraper faz lá melhor! :P

*Being a very "fashionable" colour during this Winter I decided to make a comparison between these two greys by Essence. I will compare Skyscraper from LE Urban Messages and The Dawn is Broken from the LE Vampire's Love.
Both have a grey base colour packed with dark blue glitter.
Skyscraper's base is remarkably lighter than The Dawn is Broken's, such as its glitter which is smoother. The Dawn is Broken's is more granulated.
And, besides being very different nail polishes, The Dawn is Broken is a one coat wonder, so Skyscraper, try to top that! :P

Os saldos começaram e eu pus de parte os saldos de vestuário (o que não me falta, felizmente, é roupa) e, como nunca o tinha feito antes, atirei-me aos saldos de cosmética!

Nos dois últimos dias fiz algo que nunca fiz: levantei-me cedo de manhã para ir aos saldos. No primeiro dia ainda estava tudo muito ao relantim, tenho a impressão que havia empregados de certas lojas que nem sabiam que os saldos começavam naquele dia. Mas ontem já me contentei mais.
No Fórum Montijo visitei Perfumes&Companhia, Douglas, O Boticário, Rituals e KIKO. Apenas a KIKO estava a bombar nos saldos! O Boticário já tinha muita coisa exposta (dado que a loja também é ultra pequena) mas ainda tinha muita mercadoria por conferir (segundo a empregada). A Rituals tinha a ilha de prateleiras da frente completamente vazia (ainda por preparar (hoje já lá tinha os produtinhos todos de saldos)) e na Perfumes&Companhia e na Douglas não se passava nada (mas fiquei muito contente por ver que a Douglas já vende os vernizes da sua marca!).
Neste primeiro dia comprei apenas na KIKO e n'O Boticário, poucas coisitas...

Ontem consegui convencer o meu namorado a vir comigo de manhã para Lisboa para ir aos saldos (ele ficou contente porque comprou um par de calças a 15€ :D já não me chateou a cabeça por completo...) e lá fomos ao Vasco da Gama, onde descobri que a Douglas vende agora produtos da Flormar e me perdi por completo na The Body Shop. Também comprei um baton da linha Intense n'O Boticário (no Montijo os batons desta linha ainda não estavam expostos). Na Sephora não me interessei por nada mas na Rituals comprei umas coisitas.
Então decidimos ir à Media Markt no Estádio da Luz, onde também compramos umas coisitas a preço bom. Com o Colombo ali tão perto decidi lá ir. Perdi a cabeça mais um pouco na The Body Shop e o meu namorado na Fnac. Mas pronto, a conversa vai longa e ainda não viram nada, né? Mas deixem-me só alertar para algumas coisas que não posso deixar de parte: Na loja The Body shop houve alguns conflitos de preços quando lá fui: nalguns produtos dos saldos na loja do Colombo não eram iguais aos da loja do Vasco da Gama. Já na loja do Vasco da Gama alguns produtos foram registados com o preço normal (felizmente gosto de verificar os talões e fazer as minhas continhas, assim que a empregada me disse o valor da compra fiquei com a pulga atrás da orelha). Mas pronto, é só para terem isso em atenção!
Agora passemos às comprinhas!

*The sales just started! And these were the beauties I had the chance to buy. They are usually quite expensive but now they were really affordable! (The rest of the text in Portuguese is just the whole shopping odissey I was in :P). I had the chance to buy in the following stores: KIKO, O Boticário (a big deal shop here in Portugal and some other countries), Rituals, The Body Shop, Media Markt, Fnac and Douglas (although what I bought wasn't on sales, I was just very happy to see the shop selling their own brand nail polishes for the first time). Na KIKO comprei:

A colecção de vernizes da Edição Chic Chalet. Cada verniz custou-me 2.40€ (preço original 4.90€).

Dois glosses em baton também da Edição Chic Chalet, nas cores #01 Tender Peach e #06 Sheer Taupe. Cada um custou-me 3.70€ (preço original 7.50€).

Emerald Body Wash (ou seja, sabão líquido cremoso para banho) da Edição Light Impulse. Custou-me 3.40€ (preço original 6.90€).

N'O Boticário:

Um creme hidratante mix de frutos, meio gel - meio creme. Custou-me 4.45€ (originalmente 14.90€);
Um conjunto de 2 sabonetes perfumados de Erva Doce. Custou-me 2.99€ (originalmente 4.90€);
Um baton da linha Intense Longa Duração na cor #101. Custou-me 3€ (originalmente 5.90€).

Na Rituals:

Um gel de banho Summer Rain de Peónia Chinesa e Flor de Lótus. Custou-me 3.45€ (custava 6.90€);
Um gel de banho Ice Shower de Bambú Orgânico e Hortelã Chinesa. Custou-me 3.75€ (custava 7.50€);
Um bálsamo labial de Manteiga de Shea Orgânica e Vitamina E Natural com FPS 10. Custou-e 3.54€ (custava 5.90€).

Na The Body Shop:

Uma manteiga corporal de Maracujá que me custou 4.20€ e outra de Mirtilo que custou 7€. Ambas originalmente custam 14€.

Um gel de banho da linha White Musk que custou 2.40€ e uma loção corporal também da White Musk que custou 3.30€. Não me lembro dos preços originais.

Uma manteiga corporal de tamanho de viagem de Spiced Vanilla que me custou 2.80€ (o preço original rondava os 4€ e tal mas não me lembro concretamente) e um sabonete Spiced Vanilla que custou 1.50€ (originalmente 3€).

Um sabonete Candied Ginger que custou 1.50€ (também 3€ originalmente) e um gel para lavar a face de óleo de árvore de chá (?) que me custou 1.90€ ou algo parecido. Mas não sei quanto era originalmente.

Um gel de banho de amêndoa que me custou 2.50€ (originalmente 5€).

Como o total desta compra passava dos 10€, tive a oportunidade de trazer este kit por apenas mais 15€. Este kit estava avaliado em 44€! Podia ter trazido outro kit diferente por mais 25€ e avaliado em 67€, mas ultrapassava os meus planos.

A empregada da loja ainda me deu 2 amostras da manteiga corporal da próxima colecção Chocomania e um vale para levantar um sabonete desta colecção caso faça compras superiores a 10€. Esta colecção deve chegar lá para Fevereiro ou Março.

Na Fnac e Media Markt:

O dvd de um anime que adoro! City Hunter! Com o capítulo "Bay City Wars" - que nostalgia! Tou quase a chorar, a sério!!!
O dvd do filme japonês de terror "One Missed Call".

Esta compra não foi nos saldos mas não resisti a um duplicado do Péridot da Chanel por 4.95€ :P Chama-se Fireworks e é da marca da perfumaria Douglas :)

Não tenho a certeza se já terminei as minhas compras nos saldos... Entretanto, gostaram? Já agora, eu tenho uma dúvida: em que zonas do corpo é que costumam aplicar as manteigas corporais? E durante quanto tempo é que massajam? É que eu devo fazê-lo demais pois a manteiga começa a criar farelos :/

Misturar doces e manicures é fixe! *To mix sweets and manicures is nice!

Acabei agora mesmo de fazer uma dose de "brownies". Eu sei que pouco têm a ver com o Natal, mas... os fritos típicos desta época aqui em Portugal têm de me dar um descanso. Até porque, apesar de sermos poucos cá em casa para a ceia da véspera de Natal, a mesa vai estar cheia desses fritos e outras coisas que eu consiga fazer a tempo! :P Não faltarão os Sonhos, Cuscorões (isto na minha terra são filhós estendidas), Filhós de abóbora, ainda estou a pensar se faço as Fatias da China e não sei se conseguirei fazer, pela primeira vez, uma casinha de bolachas de gengibre.
Seja como for hoje fiz "brownies" com espírito natalício e deixo-vos a receita:

1 chávena de açúcar (sendo a capacidade da chávena de 250 ml)
142 gr de manteiga à temperatura ambiente
2 ovos grandes
200 gr de chocolate de culinária derretido
2 colheres de chá de essência de baunilha
2 colheres de sopa de água quente
1 colher de chá de café em pó (para dissolver na água quente)
1 colher de sopa de cacau em pó
1/4 de colher de chá de sal
2/3 de chávena de farinha com fermento

Pré-aquecer o forno a 180.ºC. e forrar um tabuleiro quadrado, cerca de 20 cm x 20 cm, com papel vegetal (podem untar o papel com um pouco de óleo para depois ajudar a despegar). Reservar.
Numa caneca dissolve-se o café na água quente e reserva-se.
Numa tigela grande bate-se a manteiga e o açúcar até ficar cremoso. Juntam-se os ovos, a baunilha e o café e mistura-se bem. Depois adiciona-se o chocolate derretido e mistura-se bem também. Por fim adicionamos o sal, o cacau em pó e a farinha e envolvem-se no preparado até estarem incorporados. Nesta altura temos de ter cuidado para não mexer a massa demasiado. Assim que os ingredientes secos estiverem bem incorporados está óptimo. Despeja-se a massa no tabuleiro e vai ao forno durante cerca de 40 - 45 minutos. Façam o teste do palito: quando inserirem um palito no bolo ele deve vir limpo ou com um género de "migalhas", mas nunca com massa líquida.
Retirar do forno e deixar arrefecer uns 5 minutos antes de tirar do tabuleiro. Depois deixar arrefecer completamente, cortar em quadrados de cerca de 5 - 6 cm. cada e servir!
Ficaram óptimos!

*I just baked a whole batch of brownies. I know it's not very Christmas-y but... the fried sweets typical from Portugal at this time of the year have to give me a break. Just because we will be only a few here at home for the Christmas Eve supper it doesn't mean the table won't be full of those sweets :P So I can have a rest until then. On my Christmas table there will be "Sonhos", "Cuscorões", "Filhós de abóbora", I'm still thinking if I'll make "Fatias da China" and I'm not sure I'll make a Gingerbread House in time. I'll have on my table everything I'll be able to bake in time! :P
But anyway, today I baked brownies with my Christmas spirit so I'll leave you the recipe:

1 cup sugar
5 oz. butter at room temperature
2 large eggs
7 oz. of bittersweet chocolate melted
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp warm water
1 tsp of espresso powder (to solve in the warm water)
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1/4 tsp salt
2/3 cup all-purpose flower

(Since this recipe is originally in english, I'll just copy and paste it -_-).
"Preheat oven to 350. Spray an 8 by 8 inch square pan with non stick cooking spray and lay the bottom with parchment paper. Set aside.
In a small cup mix together the warm water with the instant espresso powder, set aside.
In a large bowl whisk together the sugar and butter until fluffy. Add the eggs, vanilla extract and espresso mixture. Beat until all is combined.
Add the melted chocolate and whisk, add the dry ingredients and mix everything together until it’s incorporated but don’t over mix.
Pour batter into your prepared pan and bake for about 40 to 45 minutes or until when a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out with moist crumbs but not wet batter.
Cool for about 5 minutes in the pan and then transfer them to a cooling rack to cool completely.
Cut into bars and serve!"

O frasquinho dos vernizes da colecção Hits no Olimpo podem ser pequenos (6 ml.) mas a verdade é que estas belezas holográficas duram e duram nas unhas! Uma semana ou mais! Em perfeitas condições!!!! É óbvio que, se somos pessoas de trabalhos domésticos (lavar roupa, loiça, limpas no geral) o verniz desgasta-se mais depressa, mas ainda assim é extremamente resistente ^__^ Estou muito satisfeita apesar de toda a porcaria que envolveu a sua chegada. Ora, isto para poder dizer que usei o Héstia nas unhas durante uns dias e como ainda estava impecável decidi transformá-lo numa manicure de Natal.

*The bottles of Hit no Olimpo collection are really small (6 ml.) but the truth is these holo beauties stay on and on on our nails! A whole week or more! In perfect conditions!!!! It is obvious if we use our hands a lot for domestic works the nail polish will be worn out quicker but still these nail polishes are amazingly resistant ^__^ I am really happy with them despite all the crap that happened when they arrived. Anyways, with all this I wanted to tell you that I used Hestia on my nails for some days and as it was still perfect I decided to turn it into a Christmas manicure.

O Natal apodera-se de mim de uma maneira que... leva quase toda a gente em meu redor à loucura. Uns porque acham incrível (no sentido em que exagero) e outros porque acabam por ficar como eu XD
Bem, o Natal, para além de manicures, luzes brilhantes e prendinhas, é também uma época de grandes cozinhados e doces! Este ano estreei-me com os típicos Sonhos e, como não podia deixar de ser, vou partilhar a receita :) que tirei daqui.
*Christmas takes over me in a way that... makes everyone around me go nuts. Some because they think it's amazing (in the "over-reacting" way) and others because they end up like me XD
Well, Christmas is not only about manicures, bright lights and presents, it is also a season of great cookings and sweets! This year I kicked off with the typical "Sonhos" (it's a typical Portuguese Christmas sweet and translated it means "dreams") and, as I can't avoid it, I'm going to share the recipe :) which I took from here. (This is a Portuguese forum about cooking. It's fully in Portuguese but I had to put it here for credits).

"SONHOS"
250 ml. água *250 ml. water
50 ml. azeite *50 ml. olive oil
175 gr. de farinha 175 gr. flour
4 ovos *4 eggs
1 colher de café de sal *1/4 teaspoon of salt
2 cascas de limão/laranja *2 pieces of lemon/orange peel
Óleo que baste para fritar (cerca de 3 dedos quando na fritadeira ou tacho) *Oil to fry (about 3 fingers of height when inside the frying pan)

Leva-se ao lume a água com o sal, o azeite e as cascas do limão/laranja até ferver. Retiram-se as cascas e retira-se o tacho do lume. Adiciona-se a farinha de uma só vez e mexe-se bem com uma colher de pau até formar-se uma bola de massa de despega do tacho.
Levar ao lume mais uns 2 ou 3 minutos para secar mais um pouco a massa, mexendo sempre para evitar que queime.
Deita-se amassa onde vai ser batida e deixa-se arrefecer.
Depois de arrefecida adicionam-se os ovos um de cada vez, batendo sempre entre cada adição. Pode usar-se a batedeira eléctrica.
Põe-se o óleo ao lume numa fritadeira alta ou num tacho e deixa-se aquecer. Depois, com uma colher de sobremesa deitam-se pedaços da massa na fritadeira e fritam no óleo moderadamente quente, até dobrarem ou triplicarem o tamanho e ficarem dourados. O segredo desta receita está na temperatura do óleo e no facto de estarmos sempre a virar os sonhos. Caso se verifique que ficam dourados muito depressa mas ainda estão pequenos então o óleo está muito quente. É só baixar um pouco o lume. Se se verificar o contrário, que levam muito tempo a crescer e demoram muito a ficar dourados é porque o óleo está pouco quente. É possível que o primeiro saia menos bem, mas é tudo uma questão de testar a temperatura do óleo. É fácil, é só ir regulando!
Ah, é suposto os sonhos se "rasgarem" pois é assim que aumentam o volume ;)
Depois de fritos deixem a escorrer em papel absorvente e depois passem-nos por açúcar e canela :D
Experimentem! Bons "sonhos" :P
*Put on heat a pan with the water, the salt, the olive oil and the peels and let boil. Then you take out the peels, take the pan out of the heat and add the flour at once mixing with a wooden spoon until a ball of dough is formed. This ball of dough unsticks to the pan.
Put on heat for a couple of minutes more to dry the dough a bit always mixing around so it doesn't burn.
Place the dough in a bowl, where it is going to be beaten, and let cool.
Once cool, add the eggs, one at a time beating between each addition. You can use an electric mixer here.
Put a frying pan with the oil on heat and let it warm well. Then, with a dessert spoon, measure pieces of the dough and place in the medium hot oil and let fry until they have doubled or tripled size and until they are golden brown. The secrets of this recipe is the temperature of the frying oil and keep rolling and turning the "sonhos" in the pan. If you notice that they are obtaining colour very fast but they are still not growing it means the oil is too hot. Just turn the heat a bit lower. If you confirm otherwise, they are taking too long to grown and to obtain colour it means the oil is not hot enough. Just turn up the heat a bit.
It is possible that the first "sonho" comes out a bit messed up but it's normal since we have to test the oil temperature. It's just a matter of keeping regulating the heat!
Oh, and it is supposed the "sonhos" to "tear" apart, that's how they grow ;)
Once fried leave them over absorbent paper and then just roll them over sugar and cinnamon :D
Try it out! Sweet "dreams" :P

Afinal os almoços de Natal às vezes servem para alguma coisa ;)

E o Natal é sinal de brilho e luzes por isso aqui deixo um verniz lindo para a época. É o Tru Passion da Studio M e é um "glitter pesado". Cobre bem com uma camada mas com duas é muito melhor! A aplicação deste verniz foi óptima! O tempo de secagem foi genial e a duração nas unhas foi soberba!!! 5 dias e as unhas ainda estavam perfeitas! Tirei-o porque queria mudar de verniz, mas estava perfeito! A remoção... bem... se tentarem com o método normal pode ser uma dor de cabeça, mas com o método do alumínio (aquele em que embebemos um pedaço de algodão em acetona, colocamos em cima da unha e enrolamos firmemente com alumínio em volta do dedo e aguardamos cerca de 8 minutos) saiu na boa. Apliquei 3 camadas de topcoat pois um glitter pesado precisa sempre de mais para "amansar" :P Mas enfim, espero que gostem tanto dele como eu! Ah, este verniz foi-me gentilmente dado pela KarenD. Muito obrigado!
*And Christmas means shine and lights so I am going to show you a beautiful nail polish for this time. It's Tru Passion by Studio M which is an "heavy glitter". It covers the nail with one coat but it's better with two! The application of this nail polish was great! The drying time was genius and the durability was superb!!! 5 days with it and my nails were still perfect! I took it off because I wanted to change colours but my nails were absolutely flawless! The removal... wel... if you try with the regular method it can be a pain in the neck but with the foil method (that one in which we soak a piece of cotton with acetone, put it on our nail and wrap foil firmly around it and wait for about 8 minutes) it came off with no problem. I had to apply 3 coats of topcoat though because this is an heavy glitter which means it needs more to be "tamed" :P But anyways, I hope you like this as much as I do! Oh, this nail polish was kindly given to me by KarenD. Thank you so much!

Essence #72 Found my Love

Este verniz foi a minha irmã que mo comprou naquelas bolhas de promoção da Wells. É um descontinuado que ela achou muito fofinho e eu, depois de pintar as unhas com ele, não podia deixar de concordar mais com ela ^__^
É um verniz cremoso de um lilás muito claro e fofinho. A aplicação foi boa e com duas camadas cobri a unha completamente. O tempo de secagem está dentro do normal. Nas fotos tenho duas camadas do verniz e uma de topcoat.
Esta é daquelas cores com a qual algumas máquinas fotográficas podem embirrar. Eu tirei as minhas fotos com uma máquina e tudo bem, mas depois experimentei com a outra e a cor não podia ter ficado mais enganosa. Em vez de lilás, o verniz parece azul clarinho! Mas não, a cor dele é o lilás mimoso que se apresenta na maioria das fotos ^__^

*This nail polish was my sister who bought it from one of those promotional bubbles at Wells (the pharmacies where Essence is sold). It's a discontinued nail polish and she thought it was very cute and I, after painting my nails with it, couldn't agree more ^__^
It's a creme light lilac nail polish very sweet. The application was good and it became opaque with two coats. The drying time is average. In the photos I'm wearing two coats and topcoat.
This is one of those colours that some cameras may not want to capture. I took mine with a cam and it was ok but then I tried with another and the colour couldn't be more deceivable. Instead of lilac it shows a light blue! But that's not accurate, the actual colour is the cute lilac that is shown in the majority of the photos ^__^

Vejam só como esta última saiu azul clarinho! :P

Chegou, finalmente, hoje a minha prenda de Natal que a minha irmã encomendou. Algo que desde que vi soube que tinha de ter. Nunca pensei foi que, ao olhar para a prenda, sentisse sempre este amargo... espero que passe... entretanto vou embrulhá-la e depois do Natal conto a história.
Posso entretanto dizer: FAZER ENCOMENDAS DO BRASIL NUNCA MAIS! (*tosse*Specialittá*tosse*).

*Today finally arrived the Christmas gift my sister will offer me. Something that since I've seen it I knew I had to have it. I just never thought that, by looking at it, I would always feel so bitter... I hope it won't be forever... in the meanwhile I'm going to wrap it and I'll tell you all about this story after Christmas.
All I can say for now is: NEVER ORDER FROM BRASIL AGAIN! (*coff*Specialittá*coff*).

A minha irmã decidiu dar-me esta prenda pelo meu aniversário em vez do Natal por isso, como já é dia 7, e disse que explicava o que se passou nesta encomenda do demónio, vou passar a fazê-lo:

O meu namorado encomendou, com a minha irmã, os 13 vernizes holográficos da Hits colecção Hits Olimpo. Apaixonei-me assim que os vi e a minha irmã (tipo... a melhor do mundo ^__^) decidiu oferecer-mos. Ora foi encomendado dia 8 de Novembro e não havia meio de ter a encomenda posta a caminho de casa. Primeiro problemas com a minha morada, depois problemas com o código de rastreio, tudo isto envolvido numa burocracia que não está explicada no site da marca Specialittá. Tudo bem... vamos aguardar... dia 27 de Novembro vejo finalmente os vernizes saírem do Brasil a caminho de Portugal. Óptimo! Mas só acreditamos quando os virmos. Entretanto chegaram cá e pelos vistos ficaram retidos na alfândega. Hoje às 14 horas e tal batem-me à porta e o Sr. Das Entregas Dos CTT (mais conhecido como "monobrelha"... conheço-o de vista e tal... terra pequena dá nisso) pede-me 25.42€ pelo pacotinho mal enjorcado que trazia nas mãos e eu perguntei-lhe se vinha do Brasil... óbvio.... Ok, não tinha dinheiro levantado, o meu namorado também não, lá a mamã ajudou (thanks mom! -_- (paguei-lhe depois)). Quando li os papéis todos que vinham na caixa apercebi-me que aquela poderia não ser a minha encomenda pois a descrição dos vernizes estava muito mal... abri logo e era (vinha mal acondicionados como a porra, mas vinham inteiros, e também não sei se foram os caras de caral*** da alfândega que fizeram aquele bonito serviço ou não por isso, siga...). Enfim.. mas por alma de quem é que tive de pagar 25€??? Por alma de quem é que tive de pagar mais um pouco pela minha prenda de anos??? Bem, se quiserem estragar o aniversário a alguém, façam-lhe isto! Resulta ;)

Agarrei em mim e em tudo e fui aos correios tentar perceber porque é que tinha de pagar por algo que já tinha pago e porque é que ficou retido. A Sra. Do Balcão De Atendimento Dos CTT disse-me o seguinte (não por estas palavras mas com o mesmo significado):

- A alfândega pode abrir as encomendas se assim o entender;

- Nem todas as encomendas são verificadas... calhou a sua ser;

- A alfândega arroga-se ao direito de cobrar mais se achar que o conteúdo da encomenda não corresponde ao que já foi pago para efeitos aduaneiros;

- A alfândega, se suspeitar que a quantidade do conteúdo é muita e se destina a negócio clandestino, pode reter a encomenda e/ou cobrar mais;

- A alfândega, se suspeitar que o conteúdo não é para um particular mas sim para uma empresa, pode cobrar mais.

E não me disse com todas as letras mas eu não sou parva, que, praticamente todas as encomendas um pouco mais volumosas que venham do Brasil estão sujeitas a ficar retidas na alfândega devido ao grande número de produtos contra-feitos para negócio.

Em suma, não em conclusão: pedi à Sra. o contacto da alfândega, nem que seja para lhes gritar um "OBRIGADO POR ARRUINAREM A MELHOR PRENDA DE ANOS QUE RECEBI, SEUS CARAS DE CARA***!"

Porque hoje, durante o dia todo, só me apeteceu espancar alguém...

Agora sim, conclusão: paguei e arrotei o sapo e agora vou divertir-me com os meus Deuses Gregos! ^__^ Vernizes e Mitologia Grega = My Doom! Aguardem swatches! Thanks Sis!!!!!!!!! ***

*My sister decided to give me this present on my birthday instead of Christmas so, as it is already day 7 and I told you I would explain what happened with this order from hell so I will do it about now:

My boyfriend along with my sister ordered the 13 holographic nail polishes by the brand Hits from the collection Hits no Olimpo (Hits in Olympus). I fell in love the first time I saw them and my sister (like.. the best sister in the whole world ^__^) decided to offere them to me. So this was ordered November 8th and it was taking quite a long time to have it on the way to my home. First there was some issue with my address and then with the selection code, all this involved in a crazy burocracy that is not explained on Specialittá website. Ok... lets wait... the 27th November I finally see the order leaving Brazil on the way to Portugal. Great! But we only believe when we see them. In the meanwhile they do arrive to my country but they get stuck in the customs. Today, at 2 p.m. I have someone knocking on my door and Mr. Delivery Man From The Post Office (commonly known as "monobrelha" (means he only has a one big eyebrow :P)... I know him from around... small city this one...) asks me for 25.42€ so I can have the little ugly package he has for me and I asked him if it was from Brazil... obviously... Ok, I didn't have that kind of cash with me neither my boyfriend so my mommy had to help me with that (thanks mom! -_- (I paid her later)). When I read all the papers that came along with the package I realised there could have been a mistake because the description of the nail polishes was very bad... I opened the package right away (it was all messy protected as fu** but they were whole and I didn't know either if that had been the job of the f** faces from the customs so I left it be...). Anyways... but for the love of who did I have to pay 25€??? For the love of who did I have to pay more to have my birthday present??? Well, now I know, if you want to ruin someone's brithday, do this! It works ;)
I went straight to the Post Office to try to understand why the heck did I have to pay something that had already been paid and why did it get stuck. The Lady From The Post Office told me the following (not the exact words):
- The customs can open any package if they want to;
- Not every package is verified... it happened to be yours;
- The customs has the right to charge more if they think the inside of the package doesn't match to what has already been paid for custom purposes;
- The customs can charge more or keep the package if they suspect the inside of the package, being too much of the same product, will be destined to black market;
- The customs can charge more if they suspect it will be for a company instead of a particular.
And, she didn't tell me this as it is but I'm not stupid and I understood it clearly, that practically every package from Brazil that is a bit bigger are most likely to be stuck in the customs due to the increase of black market products.
Summarizing, not concluding: I asked the Lady to give me the contact of the custom even if it's just to scream to the a "THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR RUINING THE BEST BIRTHDAY GIFT I'VE RECEIVED YOU CO**SUCK***!"
Because today all I wanted to do was to beat the crap out of someone...
Now, the conclusion: I paid and I burped this toad and now I will have some fun with my Greek Gods! ^__^ Nail polishes and Greek Mithology = My Doom! Await Swatchess! Thanks sis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ***

P.S.: This collection isn't safe from my wrath... because I still want to know some stuff about it... get some answers I mean... :P

Ora aqui está um daqueles vernizes que se não tivesse pegado nele para o ver mais ao perto nunca o teria comprado. Na prateleira parecia um amarelo pastel normalíssimo. Mas afinal é um shimmer! Uma base amarela pastel cheia de brilhinhos prateados! Adorei porque não tenho nada assim na minha colecção ^__^ A aplicação é boa. Fica óptimo com duas camadas. Pensei que ía ser mau de aplicar mas não, correu tudo bem :) Nas fotos estou a usar duas camadas sem topcoat.

*Here it is a nail polish that I thought it was boring until I picked it up to look at it closely (otherwise I would have never bought it). It looked like a regular pastel yellow. Surprise surprise, it's a shimmer! A pastel yellow base packed with silver shimmer! I loved it simply because I have no similar in my stash ^__^
The application is good. It's fine with two coats. I actually thought this was going to be a pain to apply but it all went smooth and nice :) In the photos I'm wearing two coats and no topcoat.

Depois desta linda surpresa olhei bem para ele e pensei: "tem um ar tão mimoso e levemente natalício..." Oh... o que fui eu pensar :P Apliquei duas camadas do Make it Golden e fiquei com o Natal nas unhas outra vez. A aplicação do Make it Golden também foi óptima, é uma base transparente com brilhinhos dourados com glitter dourado hexagonal grande e pequeno. Que mais podia eu pedir que gritasse "Natal"?! Espero que gostem! ^__^

*After this beautiful surprise I looked at it carefully and I thought: "it's so fresh and slightly Christmas-y..." Oh man... what have I just thought :P I applied two coats of Make it Golden and there I had it! Christmas on my nails again. The application of Make it Golden was also great, it's a golden shimmer transparent base with golden hexagonal glitter of two different sizes. What else could I ask for that screamed "Christmas"?! As diferenças são evidentes. São parecidos mas não iguais. Lá está, depende do ângulo.

Não tenho topcoat.

Outubro Cor de Rosa *Pink October

Recentemente ganhei o giveaway alusivo à Prevenção do Cancro da Mama que a 'Chelle realizou no seu espaço. Para quem não a conhece, o que dúvido, ela é a dona do blog Cosmetic Cupcake, um dos blogs de beleza mais conhecidos e uma das anfitriãs mais querida que se pode pedir. Não deixem de visitar!
Ora neste giveaway, que se apresentava maioritariamente em tons cor de rosa :), estavam diversos produtos, incluindo um porta chaves muito fofinho, da marca Clinique, com três mini-gloss de lábios para pendurar no porta-chaves, um pequeno espelho em forma de coração já no porta-chaves que, por trás, tinha o lacinho que simboliza a luta contra o cancro da mama, e também um pequeno "C" (inicial da marca). Este porta-chaves foi desenhado para apoiar a causa e deixem-me dizer que ficou lindo!
Passo então a mostrar as coisinhas fofas que vieram neste prémio simbólico.

Entretanto também já usei um dos vernizes. Utilizei o b collection by bloom na cor Vancouver. O frasco é tão amoroso e a cor é tão fofa que era o verniz que tinha mais curiosidade de experimentar. É um verniz cremoso de cor salmão rosado. A aplicação foi muito boa apesar da tendência para carecadas. Mas manuseando com cuidado consegui tornar a cor opaca em duas camadas. Tem um brilho natural excelente e mais não digo, vejam as fotos :)
*In the meanwhile I already used one of the nail polishes. I tried b collection by bloom in Vancouver. The bottle is so cute and the colour is so adorable that this was the nail polish that made my curiosity flow. It's a pinkish saumon creme in colour. The application was very good despite the tendency to create bald spots. But I managed to handle it carefully and I made it fully opaque with two coats. It has an excellent shine by itself and I'll say no more, look at the photos :)

KIKO #352 & #354

Bom dia!
Hoje venho mostrar dois vernizes que já tenho há um tempinho (não muito porque são recentes :P). São da marca KIKO, da colecção Hologram Nail Lacquer.
São eles o #352 Nebula Esmeralda e o #354 Constelação Roxa.
Ambos os vernizes têm uma óptima aplicação. Ficam opacos com duas camadas e têm efeitos de cores incríveis! Deixo as fotos para confirmar :) e espero que gostem!

Today I will show you two nail polishes that I have for some time now (not much though because they're from a recent collection :P).
They're by KIKO from the Hologram Nail Lacquer collection.
So I've got #352 Emerald Nebula and #354 Constellation Purple.
Both nail polishes have a very good application. They cover the nail with two coats and these have amazing colour effects! I leave you the photos for confirmation :) and I hope you like!

KIKO #352 Nebula Esmeralda - Verniz multicromático de base verde/azul marinho com reflexos dourados e com brilhinhos prateados e dourados. Estou a usar três camadas na foto (mas cobre bem com duas) e não tenho topcoat. Este verniz teve um senão mas que desconfio ser culpa da base que estava a usar. Depois de pintado, no dia seguinte, começaram a aparecer bolsinhas de ar por baixo do verniz. Escusado será dizer que não durou muito tempo. Tentarei da próxima sem a base.
*KIKO #352 Emerald Nebula - Multichrome nail polish with a green/blue base with golden reflexes and silver and golden shimmer. I have three coats in the photos (but covers nicely with two) and I have no topcoat. This nail polish had a problem that I actually think it wasn't its fault but the base coat I was wearing. After painting my nails, the following day, little air sockets begun to appear under the nail polish. Needless to say it didn't last long. Next time I'll try without the base coat.

KIKO #354 Constelação Roxa - Verniz multicromático de base roxa/acastanhada/bordeaux cheia de brilhinhos dourados. A aplicação é muito boa, na foto estou a usar duas camadas sem topcoat. A remoção é um pouco nhónhó pois transforma as mãos numa praga de brilhinhos capaz de meter inveja a qualquer vampiro mais recente -_- Óptimo para os fãs de Team Edward ;) (não sou fã da série, tenho apenas conhecimentos... é impossível não os ter quando a nossa irmã segue a série).
KIKO #354 Constellation Purple - Multichrome nail polish with a purple/brownish/bordeaux base packed with golden shimmer. The application is very good, in the photos I have two coats and no topcoat. The removal can be a son of a handbag because it turns our hands in a plague of shimmer making any recent vampire green with envy -_- Great for Team Edward fans ;) (I'm not a fan of the series but I know some stuff... it's kinda impossible not to know when we have a sister that follows the thing).

Para quem não sabe onde encontrar os nomes dos vernizes KIKO, estes só estão disponíveis no website da marca e as línguas disponíveis no site são apenas Italiano (recomendado); Espanhol; Francês e Alemão. Recomendo o Italiano pois todas as colecções já lá estão disponíveis (em espanhol por exemplo não aparece a colecção Hologram Nail Lacquer). Outra situação de notar no website da marca é que os nomes dos vernizes estão em duas línguas diferentes: para a versão Francesa e Italiana os nomes estão em Italiano, em Alemão e Espanhol os nomes aparecem em Inglês... portanto eu decidi traduzi-los para português visto que estava indecisa entre qual deles adoptar :P - Obrigado Rock-or-not!
Agradeço à Miss Verniz e à Gejba do blog Parokeets por me terem ajudado a descobrir onde estavam os nomes dos vernizes KIKO.
*For those who don't know where to find the names of KIKO nail polishes, these are only available at the brand's website and the languages available at the site are only Italian (recommended); Spanish; French and German. I recommend the Italian because all collections are already available there (in Spanish, for example, the Hologram Nail Lacquer collection isn't there). Another situation just for the records is that the site has the names of the polishes in two different languages: the Italian and French version have the names in Italian and the German and Spanish versions have the names in English... so I decided to translate them to Portuguese when writing in Portuguese and I use the English name when I write in English. Está revelado o mistério da desconhecida Júlia deste par! A Annie do blog espectacular Polish This! ajudou-me a clarificar a situação.
Na Finlândia e na Alemenha (por exemplo) os nomes dos protagonistas desta história são Romeo e Julia (Julie em alemão pois o "e" no fim das palavras em alemão vale "a" - tive 3 anos de alemão no secundário e lembro-me disto).. Ora a marca é alemã, se não estou em erro, por isso, está desmitificada a cena. Para nós, americanos, ingleses e outros é Julieta ou Juliet, para finlandeses, alemães e provavelmente outros também é Julia ou Julie. Ufa!

*It's revealed the mistery behind the unknown Julia of ths pair! Annie from the amazing blog Polish This! helped me to clarify the situation.
In Finland and Germany (for example) the names of the starring characters of this story are called Romeo and Julia (Julie in German because the "e" placed at the end of words in German reads "uh" - I had 3 years of German back in secondary school and I remember this).. Well the brand is German if I'm not mistaken so the situation is dismistified. For Portuguese, English, American and others is Julieta or Juliet, for the Finnish, Germans and probably some others too is Julia or Julie. Thank the Lord!

Manicure de Natal 3 *Christmas manicure 3

Esta foi a última e mais recente manicure que usei. É natalícia!
Usei um verniz da marca My Label, que não tem número nem nome por isso chamei-lhe Pérola. Duas camadas aplicadas com cuidado pois o pincel é uma porcaria e é daqueles vernizes que podem fazer "carecadas" nas unhas. Este verniz tem um acabamento pérolado. Depois de seco apliquei uma camada do verniz Carlo di Roma #81, um glitter vermelho em base transparente mas avermelhada. Querem mais natalício do que isto? ;)

*This was the last and most recent manicure I've used. It's a Christmas one!
I used a nail polish by My Label which doesn't have a number or name so I called it Pearl. Two coats applied very carefully because the brush sucks and it's one of those polishes that can leave bald spots on the nails. This nail polish has a pearl finish. Essence Nail Art Twins #02 Romeo vs. Essence Nail Art Twins #02 Romeo (New)

Hoje tive a sorte de encontrar à venda o primeiro Romeo que saiu da Essence Nail Art Twins. A minha irmã encontrou-o :P e, obviamente, teve de o trazer com ela. Até porque eu fiz a observação de que o Romeo que eu tinha cá em casa não era igual ao que ela tinha na mão. Eu não fazia ideia de que a primeira versão do Romeo era diferente!
O 1.º Romeo é um verniz de acabamento metálico que cobre a unha bem com uma camada. O 2.º Romeo é um cinza claro de acabamento cremoso que precisa de duas camadas para ficar decente. São os dois cores muito lindas, mas tendo em conta que são para combinar com um outro verniz, neste caso o Julia, não sei se deveriam ou não ter mantido a primeira versão do Romeo.
A primeira versão saiu neste grupo:

*Today I was very fortunate to find the first Romeo by Essence Nail Art Twins for sale. Actually my sister found it :P and, obviously, she had to bring it with her. Also because I stated that the Romeo I had at home wasn't the same as the one she was holding. And I had no idea that the first version of Romeo was different!
The 1st Romeo is a metallic nail polish that covers really nice in one coat. The 2nd Romeo is a creamy light grey that needs at least two coats to look decent. They are both really pretty colours but, having in mind that they are supposed to be combined with another polish, in this case Julia, I'm not really sure if they should or shouldn't have kept the first version of Romeo.

Mas pelos vistos há algo de muito errado neste par pois para além de existirem dois Romeos não existe nenhuma Juliet mas sim uma Julia que não se sabe bem quem é... eu pelo menos não faço ideia o_O conheço a história Romeu e Julieta mas não conheço nenhuma Romeu e Júlia... mas enfim... deixo a diferença óbvia que existe nos dois homens (vernizes) do par (trio?).

Essence - Urban Messages

A minha irmã comprou-me também esta edição limitada da Essence e vi-me no dever de fazer os respectivos swatches da colecção.
São 5 vernizes, todos com acabamento "shimmer" - pois cada verniz está cheio de brilhinhos!
Não sei se captei muito bem a "mensagem urbana" transmitida, mas as cores são lindas e por isso aqui as partilho com vocês. Espero que gostem ^__^

*My sister also bought me this limited edition by Essence and I thought it was only fair to show the respective swatches of the collection.
This has a total of 5 nail polishes, all with a shimmer finish. These are full of shimmer!
I'm not sure if I got the "urban message" correctly but the colours are great and so I'm sharing them with you. I hope you like ^__^

#01 Street Styler - É uma base turquesa escura cheia de brilhinhos azuis e prateados. Muito boa aplicação! Na foto tenho duas camadas e não tenho topcoat.
*#01 Street Styler - It's a dark turquoise base full of blue and silver shimmer. Very good application! In the photos I'm wearing two coats and no topcoat.

#02 Skyscraper - Uma base cinzenta meio "taupe" com brilhinhos azuis e prateados. A fórmula deste verniz é um pouco espessa e por isso a aplicação é manhosa. Podemos ficar com aquelas "carecadas" nas unhas se não aplicarmos com cuidado. Nas fotos tenho três camadas (mas cobre bem com duas, foi por causa das "carecadas" que tive de aplicar três) e não tenho topcoat.
*#02 Skyscraper - A grey base, a bit "taupe", with blue and silver shimmer. The formula of this polish is a bit thick so the application can be tricky. We can get those bald spots if we don't handle this carefully. In the photos I have three coats (it covers in two coats but because of those bald spots I had to apply a third coat) and I have no topcoat.

#03 It Peace - Base avermelhada coral, cheia de brilhinhos azuis e roxos!!! Óptima aplicação! Cobre decentemente com duas camadas mas nas fotos decidi usar três para fazer justiça à cor. Não tenho topcoat nas fotos.
*#03 It Peace - reddish coral base filled with lots of blue and purple shimmer!!! Great application! It covers well with two coats but in the photos I have three just to make it fair on the colour. I don't have topcoat in the photos.

#04 Nightline - Base azul muito escura cheia de brilhinhos azuis! A aplicação foi óptima! Nas fotos tenho duas camadas de verniz sem topcoat.
*#04 Nightline - Very dark blue base with lots of blue shimmer! The application was great! In the photos I have two coats of nail polish and no topcoat.

#05 Wall of Fame - É possivelmente o verniz mais bonito da colecção. Base amarela pastel com brilhinhos amarelos. É o único verniz da colecção que não tem brilhinhos azuis. É também o mais difícil de aplicar. Fórmula algo espessa para uma cor pastel. As "carecadas" ainda são piores do que as do Skyscraper. No entanto perdoo estes senãos por ser o verniz mais lindo da colecção. Três camadas nas fotos (por causa das tais "carecadas", acredito que cubra bem com duas) e sem topcoat.
*#05 Wall of Fame - It's possibly the most beautiful nail polish of the collection. Yellow pastel base with yellow shimmer. It's the only nail polish of this collection that doesn't have blue shimmer. It is also the hardest to apply. The formula is a bit thick for a pastel colour. The bald spots are more flagrant than Skyscraper's. But I can forgive these little flaws just because it's the most gorgeous nail polish of the collection. Three coats in the photos (due to the bald spots, but I believe it cover nicely with two) and no topcoat.

Essence Colour&Go - #09 Get the Fever vs. #46 Wake Up!

Esta foi uma dúvida que me assolou quando retiraram os descontinuados da Essence Colour&Go e repuseram os próximos. Eu sabia que o Get the Fever era um dos que ía embora, mas não deixei de notar que "ele" lá continuava no expositor! A curiosidade foi maior e agarrei num para o analisar mais de perto. Reparei então que não se tratava do Get the Fever mas sim do Wake Up!
Tinha a certeza que eram iguais! Mas hoje comprei o Wake Up! para poder finalmente tirar as minhas conclusões.
São muito muito muito parecidos. À primeira vista são iguais. A "grande" diferença é apenas notável nos frascos. Acontece que o Wake Up! é o irmão gémeo-que-nasceu-por-último do Get the Fever. Têm ambos uma tonalidade laranja ligeiramente avermelhada muito forte! O Wake Up! é um nadinha mais vibrante do que o Get the Fever. Nas fotos pode não estar muito claro, e a verdade é que na realidade também não se nota muita diferença... precisei de estar a olhar para as unhas durante um bom tempo para reparar que existe apenas uma súbtil diferença na intensidade das tonalidades. O Wake Up! é um pouquinho mais forte do que o Get the Fever, mas se podem ser considerados "duplicados"? Sim, na minha opinião podem. Podíamos andar com umas unhas pintadas de Get the Fever e outras de Wake Up! Que ninguém ía dar por isso ;) Vejam vocês mesmos!

*This was a doubt I had when the stores took off the Essence Colour&Go nail polishes that were discontinued and replaced them with the new ones. I knew that Get the Fever was a discontinued one but I couldn't keep my eyes off the shelf and notice that "it" was still there! Curiosity took me over and I had to pick it up and observe it a little closer and better. That's when I found out that it wasn't Get the Fever but another one called Wake Up!
I was absolutely sure they were the same colour! But today I bought Wake Up! so I could finally get my own conclusions.
They are really really really close to each other. At a first look we can say they are equal. The "big" difference is only noticeable in the bottles. It happens that Wake Up! is the twin brother who-was-born-last of Get the Fever. They both have a very strong orange, slightly reddish, shade! Wake Up! is just a little bit more vibrant than Get the Fever. In the photos it may not be that clear but the truth is that in reality it's not very noticeable either... It took me a few minutes of staring at my nails to realise there is only a subtle difference of intensity between both colours. Wake Up! is just a little bit stronger than Get the Fever but can they be considered dupes? In my opinion, yes. We could walk around with some nails painted with Get the Fever and the others painted with Wake Up! that no one would tell the difference ;) Check it for yourselves!

H&M Minnie+Mickey

Encontrei estes três fofinhos na H&M e não resisti a trazê-los :) O Natal este ano não vai dar para muito e por isso vou oferecendo uns miminhos de mim para mim. Ao preço que são tá-se bem (1.95€ cada - 14ml.).
São três vernizes que retratam o amor do Mickey e da Minnie (pelo que percebi). Os três vernizes têm uma aplicação muito boa e uma remoção também sem problemas, com excepção do glitter. E o tempo de secagem está dentro do típico. Espero que gostem. Eu gosto muito de todos e pensei que eram apenas mais três vernizes... ;)

*I found these three babies in an H&M store and I couldn't resist to bring them with me :) Christmas won't be so full this year so I've been offering myself these little sweet nothings. The price is not a big deal so it's cool (1.95€ each - 14ml.).
So this is three nail polishes that show the love of Mickey and Minnie (or at least that's what I understood). The three nail polishes have a very good application and a nice removal too, exception for the glitter, of course. And the drying time is pretty regular. I hope you like this. I like these pretties a lot and firstly I thought these were just another three nail polishes... ;)

Este é o Kiss Goodnight. É um verniz de base cremosa cinzenta muito escura com "shimmer" - brilhinhos - muito fino prateado e algumas partículas maiores e de outras cores (consigo detectar rosa e azulado). O acabamento deste verniz é "glass-flecked" pois parece que tem pedacinhos de vidro na fórmula. É daqueles vernizes que são muito mais interessantes na realidade do que as fotos mostram. Pode ser uma das maravilhas de uma camada, mas na foto tenho duas e não tenho topcoat.
*This is Kiss Goodnight. It's a very dark grey creme base with very fine silver shimmer and some other bigger particules of other colours (I can clearly detect pink and blue-ish). It's one of those nail polishes that are more interesting in live than the photos show. This has a glass-flecked finish. It can be a one coat wonder but on the photo I have two coats and no topcoat.

Apresento agora o Berry Love. Um meio-creme, meio-gelatinoso vermelho. Cobre bem com duas camadas (na foto nota-se bem a linha da unha mas na realidade não se nota praticamente nada) e tem um óptimo brilho só por si. Na foto tenho duas camadas e não tenho topcoat.
*Presenting now Berry Love. A half-creme, half-jelly red polish. It covers the nail with two coats (on the photos the nail line is quite visible but in reality it's not noticeable at all) and it has a very glossy finish on its own. In the photos I have two coats and no topcoat.

Finalmente mostro-vos o Confetti Kisses. É uma base transparente com glitter hexagonal e também outras partículas de glitter mais pequenas, ambos prateados. Duas camadas na foto e sem topcoat. Só pintei uma unha porque não estava na onda de glitter hoje (principalmente por causa da remoção). Apesar de não ser preciso "andar à pesca" do glitter maior, acho que com duas camadas fica mais bonito e não fica muito exagerado.
*Finally I'm showing you Confetti Kisses. It's a clear base with hexagonal glitter and also smaller glitter particules, both silver. Two coats and no topcoat in the photos. I only painted one nail because I was really not into glitter today (mainly because of the removal). Despite not needing to "fish" the bigger glitter I think this looks better with two coats. It's prettier and not exagerated at all.

Dá nisto! Um show de cores! Ok... eu sei que maior parte de vocês já fez esta mistura no ano passado, mas eu não ^__^ por isso aqui está, mais uma loucura de Natal :P

Natal, Natal! *Christmas, Christmas!

Já ando toda maluca pelas manicures de Natal. E depois não admira que tenha ataques de pânico com esta ansiedade toda -__-
Mas é verdade, já comecei as minhas manicures de Natal. Não tenho quase colecção nenhuma de vernizes de Natal.... aliás.... só tenho 3 vernizes de uma colecção de Natal que foi a do ano passado da China Glaze, lembram-se? O meu namorado ofereceu-me no Natal um mini pack com o Phat Santa, o Jolly Holly e o Party Hearty. Ora, mas eu tenho cores natalícias e então já ando doida. E a que fiz primeiro foi usando o Cherry da H&M e o Party Hearty da China Glaze (um dos meus vernizes preferidos de sempre :P).
Duas camadas sem falhas do Cherry e uma camada também óptima do Party Hearty, terminando com uma camada de topcoat. Já espalhei Natal pela casa... pois claro.... a árvore de Natal? Fi-la hoje! :)

I am already all crazy about Christmas manicures. No wonder I have panic attacks with all this anxiety -__-
But it's true, I have already started my Christmas manicures. I almost don't have any Christmas collection of nail polishes.... actually...... I only have 3 nail polishes of last year's China Glaze Christmas collection, remember? My boyfriend offered me a mini pack with Phat Santa, Jolly Holly and Party Hearty. But, come on, I have Christmas-y colours and so I am already so nuts about it. And the first manicure I've done was using H&M Cherry and China Glaze Party Hearty (one of my favourite nail polishes of all time :P).
Two flawless coats of Cherry and one great coat of Party Hearty on, finished with topcoat. I am already spreading Christmas all over the house.... of course... and the Christmas tree? I've done it today! :)

Essence Colour&Go #38 Choose Me!

Já comprei este verniz há uns bons meses, mas aqui deixo o swatch da cena. É um verniz muito brilhante com um acabamento "glass-flecked" pois parece que tem pedacinhos de vidro na fórmula. A aplicação é muito boa e fica óptimo com duas camadas. Um grande mas resolúvel problema é que mancha as unhas de azul :P mas basta lavá-las e esfregar um pouco com pasta de dentes e sai bastante bem. Se não, usa-se o buffer de unhas ^__^. Aqui deixo fotos desta beleza, sem topcoat.

*I bought this nail polish a few months ago but here I leave you the swatch of it anyways. It's a very shiny nail polish with a glass-flecked finish because it seems it has little pieces of glass in the formula. The application was very nice and it's fully opaque in two coats. One big but "solvable" problem is that it stains our nails blue :P but we just need to wash and rub them with a bit of tooth paste and it comes out pretty well. If not, just use a nail buffer ^__^. So here they are, the photos of this beauty with no topcoat.

H&M Spring Nails - Beige, Blue & Brown

Estes mini vernizes da H&M pertenciam a uma pequena colecção chamada Spring Nails. Como sabemos algumas cores estão associadas às diferentes estações do ano e eu, francamente, não consegui ver "Spring" (Primavera) em nenhum destes vernizes (tirando talvez o branco que é neutro).
Adorei todas as cores! Infelizmente estes vernizes, apesar de serem minis, engrossam muito depressa. Comprei-os este ano e já quase não os consigo aplicar :( Entretanto na altura a aplicação decorreu sem problemas, demoraram um pouco mais de tempo a secar do que o habitual, mas todos têm um acabamento muito brilhante sem topcoat.
(Esta colecção inclui um verniz branco do qual não fiz swatch. É apenas mais um branco...).

*These H&M mini nail polishes belong to a small collection named Spring Nails. As we know some colours are associated to each season of the year and, honestly, I couldn't find Spring in any of the colours of this collection (with the exception of the white one because it's neutral).
I loved all the colours though! Unfortunatelly these nails polishes, despite mini, became thick very quickly. I bought them this year and I almost can't apply them anymore :( But anyways, when I bought them the application was problems free, they did take a bit more time to dry than the usual, but they all have a very shiny finish on their own.
(This collection included a white nail polish which I didn't swatch. It's just another withe...).

Beige - Verniz cremoso de tom beige ou, eu gosto de associá-lo à cor de "latte machiatto".

*Beige - It's a beige creme or, I prefer to associate it to the colour of a "latte machiatto".

Blue - Um meio-gelatinoso meio-creme azul muito escuro. Oceano muito profundo na minha opinião.
*Blue - A half-jelly half-creme dark dark blue. Very deep ocean in my opinion.

Brown - Um creme castanho, quase cor de tijolo. Lindo! O meu preferido da colecção.

Risqué - Jóias Místicas - Diamante Roxo

Comprei este verniz algo enganada. Pensei que era um verniz fosco e afinal era ultra brilhante. Apesar deste engano não fiquei nada desapontada. O verniz, tal como todos os vernizes ultra brilho da Risqué, tem um brilho fenomenal sem topcoat. A aplicação é normal e fica opaco com duas camadas. O tempo de secagem é regular também e a única coisa negativa é que lasca muito depressa. Nas fotos não estou a usar topcoat.
Apresento-vos então o Diamante Roxo da colecção Jóias Místicas da Risqué.

*I bought this nail polish by mistake thinking it was a matte and it turned out to be a ultra shining. Despite this little mistake I wasn't disappointed at all. This baby, just like every other ultra shine nail polish by Risqué has a phenomenal shine without topcoat. The applicationis regular and it's fully opaque in two coats. The drying time is also normal and the only negative aspect is the fact that it chips very quickly. In the photos I'm not using topcoat.
Ladies and gentlemen here it is Diamante Roxo (translation: Purple Diamond) from the Jóias Místicas (translation: Mystical Jewels) collection by Risqué.

Essence - Vampire's Love

A minha irmã comprou-me a colecção dos vernizes da Essence Vampire's Love. Ela gostou porque não tem nada a ver com a saga Twilight :P (mas note-se que ela leu os livros e vê os filmes e, inclusive, escreve fanfics da saga). Então ela pediu-me para eu fazer as amostras de cada um dos vernizitos que, por acaso (só por acaso :P) são muito giros e algo complexos.
Esta Edição Limitada da Essence tem 5 vernizes de tonalidades bem diferentes:

#02 Into the Dark
#03 True Love
#04 The Dawn is Broken
#05 Hunt me if You Can
Todos têm uma aplicação óptima e uma remoção também sem problemas. Nenhum faz grande bagunça na remoção. Comecemos então pela ordem acima descrita :)

*My sister bought me Essence Vampire's Love collection. She liked the collection because it has nothing to do with the Twilight series :P (but note that she is a dedicate reader of the books and she watches every film and, she is also a Twilight fanfic writer).
So she asked me to make the swatches for these nail polishes that, as a matter of fact are quite cute and complex.
This Limited Edition by Essence has 5 nail polishes of very different shades:
#01 Gold Old Buffy
#02 Into the Dark
#03 True Love
#04 The Dawn is Broken
#05 Hunt me if You Can
They all apply like a dream and the removal is also very good. None of the nail polishes make a big mess when removing. Ok so lets start following the order above :)

#01 Gold Old Buffy - é um verniz de base aquosa preta com micro glitter e pequenos flocos dourados e verdes o que confere ao verniz um tom uniforme verde dourado. Tem um acabamento "glass flecked" ou seja parece que tem pedacinhos muito pequenininhos de vidro e fica perfeitamente opaco com duas camadas. Na foto usei topcoat. - É, na minha opinião, o segundo verniz mais complexo da colecção devido ao seu acabamento e aos seus tons.
*#01 Gold Old Buffy - it's a nail polish with a watery black base with golden and green micro glitter and little flakies which gives this nail polish its golden green tone. It has a glass flecked finish which means it looks like it has very small pieces of shattered glass in it and it's fully opaque with two coats. In the photo I'm using topcoat. - It is, in my opinion, the second most complex nail polish of the collection due to its finish and different tones.

#02 Into the Dark - é um verniz cremoso azul muito escuro tipo azulejo com micro glitter prateado. A sua cor no frasco pode enganar pois aparenta ser mais claro do que é. Tem um acabamento cremoso que, apesar do micro glitter, é bastante brilhante mesmo sem topcoat. É uma das maravilhas da colecção que cobre com uma camada mas eu apliquei duas pela força do hábito. Tem, portanto, uma óptima pigmentação. Na foto utilizei topcoat. - Foi uma óptima surpresa porque a julgar pela cor no frasco eu não o compraria :)
*#02 Into the Dark - it's a very dark blue/teal creme with silver micro glitter. Its colour in the bottle can be deceiving because it actually is a lot darker than it looks like in the bottle. It has a creme finish as I already said that, despite the micro glitter, is very shiny even without topcoat. It's one of the one coat wonders of this collection but I did apply two (habits :P). It has a great pigment. In the photo I used topcoat. - This was the greatest surprise of the collection because judging by the colour in the bottle I wouldn't have bought it :)

#03 True Love - é um verniz roxo escuro com brilhinhos. Tem um acabamento em "shimmer" ou seja os tais brilhinhos que parecem um fino pó adicionado ao verniz, e poderia ser uma das maravilhas de uma camada mas o resultado com uma camada é muito diferente do que se levar duas camadas. Utilizei então duas camadas e, apesar de ser também um verniz que resulta muito brilhante, apliquei topcoat. - É uma tonalidade linda que faz um óptimo par com o nome que tem mas não é novidade nenhuma.
#03 True Love - it's a dark purple shimmer nail polish. Its shimmer finish really makes it look like fine powder has been added to the formula and, this could be a one coat wonder but the colour with only one coat is very different from two coats. So I used two coats and, despite being a very shiny nail polish on its own, I applied topcoat. - It's a beautiful shade that combines very well with its name but it's not really big news.

#04 The Dawn is Broken - é um verniz cremoso cinza claro com glitter azul escuro e micro glitter prateado. É mais uma maravilha que cobre com uma camada mas eu apliquei duas. É o verniz mais granuloso de todos e menos brilhante. Na foto usei topcoat. - É o verniz mais deslocado da colecção pois é o único tom claro, no entanto, acho que está muito bem pois pode associar-se ao nevoeiro (todas as cenas de vampiros têm nevoeiro, certo? :P). Infelizmente, ultimamente o que não falta aí nas últimas colecções é vernizes com este tom por isso, nada de novo aqui também.
*#04 - The Dawn is Broken - it's a light grey creme base with dark blue glitter and silver micro glitter. It's another one coat wonder from the collection but I still applied two. It's the most grainy formula of all and the less shiny. In the photo I used topcoat. - This is the most dislocated nail polish of the collection because it's the only light shade but, it's alright because it can be associated with the fog (all vampire stuff include fog, right? :P). Unfortunatelly this is a very common shade in the latest collections so, nothing new here either.

#05 Hunt me if You Can - é um verniz cremoso preto com micro glitter e pequenos flocos prateados que reflectem outras cores muito pálidas. Quase que fica opaco com uma camada mas a segunda camada é mesmo necessária para uniformizar completamente a cor. Tem um acabamento "shimmer"/"glass flecked", uma mistura destes dois pois é muito difícil de decifrar. Na foto usei topcoat. - Este é o verniz mais complexo da colecção pois é extremamente difícil de descrever se olharmos para ele com atenção. Eu consegui compará-lo a montes de outros vernizes apenas para reparar que afinal não se parece com nenhum deles. Os diferentes reflexos que se captam nos diferentes ângulos são os responsáveis por esta complexidade. Talvez o possa comparar ao Dirty Berry da Catrice em termos de complexidade de cor e reflexos.
*#05 Hunt me if You Can - it's a black creme nail polish with silver micro glitter and little flakies that reflect other very pale colours. It's almost opaque with one coat but a second one is really necessary to even out the colour. It has a shimmer/glass flecked finish, a mix between these two because this one is very hard to describe. In the photo I used topcoat. - This is the most complex nail polish of the collection because it is really hard to describe when we look at it closely and with a lot of attention. I could compare it to some other nail polishes I've seen or have only to find out that after all this one has nothing to do with any polish I've seen. The different reflexes that can only be captured in some angles are responsable for this complexity.
I probably can only compare it to Catrice's Dirty Berry when it comes to complexity of colours and reflections.

Conseguem notar alguns daqueles tons pálidos que referi? :) *Can you notice some of those pale tones I mentioned? :)

Não costumo fazer amostras de colecções mas é justo visto que a minha irmã me pediu e ela é que me comprou os vernizes :P espero que tenha ajudado a quebrar algumas dúvidas.

Risqué Penélope Charmosa - Pink Vigarista

Ah! Como já me tinha esquecido de quão brilhantes são os vernizes da Risqué (fora os matte, é claro :P).
A minha irmã decidiu comprar o Pink Vigarista da colecção Penélope Charmosa da Risqué, e eu, assim que terminei o desafio, aproveitei para dar um arranjo nas minhas unhas e pintá-las com este miminho. Só estava um pouco receosa pois os dois vernizes que tenho da colecção desiludiram-me muito. Mas pus isso atrás das costas ;)
Adiante, durante o desafio a minha unha do dedo do meio da mão esquerda rachou e tive de aguentá-la para não quebrar completamente até ao fim do desafio e quando o terminei, cortei as unhas... bastante!
Que desculpa melhor para usar um verniz de tom avermelhado! (Gosto de ver vernizes pretos, muito escuros ou vermelhos especialmente em unhas curtas.)
Este verniz tem uma aplicação meio manhosa na primeira camada mas na segunda camada, para além de ficar completamente opaco, a aplicação torna-se bastante mais fácil. É um verniz extremamente brilhante que fica óptimo sem topcoat, mas o topcoat ajuda o verniz a resistir por isso apliquei uma camada de topcoat. Este verniz tem um acabamento meio gelatina meio creme e por isso é que resulta muito brilhante.
Tenho apenas duas observações a fazer: tal como outros vernizes da Risqué com o mesmo acabamento, este verniz parece que escorre da ponta da unha para o centro deixando a beira da unha com pouco verniz, parecendo que já está a ficar gasto; outro ponto fraco que é comum a todos os vernizes da Risqué é o facto de começar a lascar muito depressa, mesmo com topcoat.
No fundo é um óptimo verniz, com uma cor muito sumarenta, que me esqueci de adquirir no Verão :P

My sister decided to buy Pink Vigarista from the collection Penélope Charmosa by Risqué, and I, as soon as the 31 days challenge was over, jumped on to give my nails a quick fix and also try this baby. I was just a bit fearful to use it because the other two nail polishes I have from this collection were complete loosers to me. But I put that behind my back ;)
Anyways, during the challenge my left hand middle finger nail cracked and I had to keep it steady to not break completely until the end of the challenge and when this was over I cut my nails... a lot!
And what a better excuse to paint my nails with a reddish shade! (I like to see blacks, very dark nail polishes or reds specially on short nails.)
This nail polish is a bit tricky during the first application but with the second coat, besides getting fully opaque, it also becomes a lot easier to apply. This is an extremelly glossy nail polish that works just fine with no topcoat but the topcoat helps it to last longer so I applied one coat of topcoat. This nail polish has a half jelly half creme finish and that's why it is so shiny.
I only have two things to point out: just like other Risqué nail polishes with the same finish, this formula has a tendency to "slide" from the tip of the nail to the center, leaving the tip with no polish making it look like it has been worn for days; another weak point commun to all Risqué nail polishes is the fact that it chips easily even with topcoat.
But in the end it is a great nail polish, with a juicy colour, that I just forgot to buy this Summer :P

Desafio dos 31 dias - DIA 31 *31 days Challenge - DAY 31

Cheguei ao último dia deste desafio. Adorei participar nele. Descobri coisas novas das quais gosto e outras que detesto. Descobri até que algumas manicures me deixam indiferente... enfim, uma experiência rica nesta área :P
Ora a manicure do último dia era recriar a manicure que mais gostámos. E a minha preferida foi a manicure em degradé do dia 10.
Recriei-a noutras cores. vernizes utilizados por ordem de degradé:
Essence Colour&Go #53 You Belong to Me (cor base, duas camadas);
China Glaze For Audrey (para esponjar);
Paint and Peel Azure (para esponjar);
Essence Nail Art Twins #06 Bella (para esponjar);
Sinful Colors #220 Green Ocean (camada de flocos para cobrir a manicure toda).
Terminei com topcoat.
Confesso que, por tê-la feito na noite de Halloween, não saiu tão bem como a primeira. Mas foi a que mais gostei e esta foi a recriação. Espero que gostem!

*I have finally reached the end of this challenge. I really liked taking part of it. I discovered some things I love and some things I hate and I also found out that some manicures can really make me indifferent... anyways... it was a rich experience in the area :P
So this last day of the challenge we had to recreate our favourite manicure of the challenge. Mine was manicure from day 10, gradient nails.
I recreated it in different colours. Nail polishes I used by order:
Essence Colour&Go #53 You Belong to Me (base colour, two coats);
China Glaze For Audrey (to sponge);
Paint and Peel Azure (to sponge);
Essence Nail Art Twins #06 Bella (to sponge);
Sinful Colors #220 Green Ocean (a flakie coat to cover the whole manicure).
I finished this with topcoat.
I must confess that this was made on Halloween night as so it didn't turn out as good as the first one, but it was my favourite and it is a recreation so, I hope you like it anyways!

Dia 30: Manicure inspirada num tutorial.
Esta é possivelmente a minha segunda manicure preferida deste desafio. Não a vou recriar porque é ridículo visto tê-la feito hoje e recriá-la amanha... se bem que podia usar cores diferentes e outro fruto..... bem, estou a divagar... já sei qual é a minha recriação de qualquer modo ;)
Para esta manicure usei os seguintes vernizes:
- OPI mini colecção de Halloween I Love Mummy (para a francesa, duas camadas);
- Le Petit Cliché Colinho (para as riscas);
- MIYO #18 Cocktail (para as pintinhas na francesa e no morango);
- Le Petit Cliché Sorte (para o morango);
- Claire's verde (para o pé do morango).
Terminei com topcoat.
Devo dizer que foi a segunda manicure que mais gozo me deu fazer. Adorei o resultado e agradeço à Mimimemeko por ter feito este tutorial tão fixe com uma manicure tão kawaiiiiiiiiiiiiiii ^___^

This is probably my second favourite manicure of this challenge. I would recreate it but it's just ridiculous since I've done it today and I would have to to it again tomorrow... although I could actually use different colours and fruits.... ok I'm just drifting away... anyways I already have my recreation planned ;)
For this manicure I used the following nail polishes:
- OPI Halloween mini collection I Love Mummy (for the french, two coats);
- Le Petit Cliché Colinho (for the stripes);
- MIYO #18 Cocktail (for the dots on the french and strawberry);
- Le Petit Cliché Sorte (for the strawberry);
- Claire's green (for the base of the strawberry).
I finished with topcoat.
I really must say this was the second manicure of this challenge that I liked to do the most. I love how it came out and I have to thank to Mimimemeko for having done this great tutorial with such a kawaiiiiiiiiiii manicure ^___^
